List of Jeffrey S. Krivit Md's Reviews
Dr. Krivit literally saved my life. I had a main artery ruptured in my nose and went to the ER numerous times to have them painfully pack my nose and send me home only to return hours later with a severe bloody nose. He was the only one who could figure out what was wrong. He was extremely concerned and talked in detail about the problem and surgery needed. I have had numerous follow up appointments and found Dr. Krivit to be very caring and thorough. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
He was RUDE and CONDESCENDING. He rushed in, spent 5 mins with me. Barely asked any questions/cut me off when I tried to tell him what symptoms I was having. I came in for unexplained dizziness. Shoved instruments in my face and scope down my nose with no warning. Tells me I have a deviated septum and wants a CT scan. He comes back in reads the scan and tells me I need surgery. When I question why, becomes aggressive, raising his voice, waving his arms at me. "What a waste of time!" "Why did he order the CT if I was not going to have surgery?!!" I was sitting there in disbelief. I came in because I was having dizziness, I have zero trouble breathing with my nose, no chronic sinus issues or allergies. He did not ask me any of those questions. I thought he ordered the CT related to dizziness, but it was ordered for the purposes of a septum surgery. When I questioned him/refused, he became irritated. I wonder if it was all about $. Stuck with bill for useless visit/unnecessary CT.
I have been dealing with sinus issues for awhile. I finally get to see a specialist! Yippie! Well when I went to dr.krivit he treated me like I was 2. He snipped as to why my doctor didnt try 30 days of antibiotics. (I dont know...I'm a patient not a doctor) He seemed uninterested in anything I said. He would talk over me. He did a scope of my nose. ($500 that insurance didnt cover) and low and behold i have a deviated septum, but nothing can be done. He said he wanted to do a scan but never told me why or if it would fix my issues. I opted out. I felt like it was all about money and not about truly helping me. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor that will listen and work towards a solution.
Dr. Krivit came in and was extremely unprofessional and demeaning. I felt like my medical concerns were not considered or listened to and left feeling like I was not respected as a female or general patient. My professional career was questioned, my integrity was insulted, and my judgement as an adult was not heard. I will not be back to his office.
I have been seeing Dr.Krivit for many years for my ears. I have tinnitus and meniere's. He was upfront with me that there is nothing that can be done to fix this. So his bedside manner lacked a little kindness in telling me I would just go deaf over the years. I see him for my ears like once every three years and the hearing lose just gets a little bit worse. He walks into the room, looks in my ears say you still have hearing loss and meniere's I tell him the krickets i hear all the time change sometimes, and that hearing aids don't help much he just says yep see you in 3 years and out the door he goes. But this last surgery he removed polyps from my vocal cords and whatever else he did (that's why I put only 4 stars. i have no clue what he really did to my throat) I have a call into the nurse to see what they did, because my throat still hurts and my nose is still plugged up so the only thing i found out was I don't have throat cancer Which is great..i need to know what he has done please.but at my apts and when i had the surgery he was so jolly and happy it was wonderful to have him make me feel at ease .He came in the room so happy just like bright sunshine( I know whatever he did to change I want some to LOL) It really made my day when he said all the test were benien and he said it with a smile. I will be looking forward to my next visit thank you
My recent appointments with Dr. Krivit would be graded EXCELLENT from my point of view. On time, explained in my simple terms so I understood what he could do for me and he did.. Dan Dailey,
I saw him a few years ago for tonsil removal and had no problems. Saw him today for my ears (was referred and told I need tubes) he stated there is nothing wrong with my ears that I should take out my earrings (which are clearly not in my ear canal) and that if I still have problems to see a neurologist because it’s my brain. Worst doctor ever. Spent 2 hours waiting to be seen for less than 5 min and treated terribly! And I am still in pain!
I recently had experiences with Dr. Krivit. He is someone I will not recommend. They information he provided was lacking during diagnosis. I need to investigate further why he wanted to perform surgery. Pre-surgery he never even consulted me. Post surgery my husband found him arrogant and to busy to answer valid questions. I had concerns about post surgery issues and how they were being handled. He became very aggressive in his manner and voice. I was astonished by the lack of compassion. NO.
I went in for what I thought was an allergy test. I ended up waiting an extra half hour for my appointment and his rushed demeanor was apparent. He looked at my nose for a few minutes. Sprayed something in it, stuffed it with cotton, said it was medicine and left. Returned 10 minutes later and proceeded to hastily perform a nasal endoscopy without telling me or asking me. I felt incredibly violated. Horrid bedside manor. I dread the bill for a procedure I didn’t request or consent to.
I just left his office and found him to have a very nice bed-side manor. I had a balloon put in my nose for severe nose bleeding in the hospitial last week. Was assigned to Dr. Krivit to have it removed and cauterize the bleeding. He was knowledgeable, understanding, professional and kept me informed of every step taken. He is very nice and he answered all of my questions. He treated me with respect. I also don't understand why other patients say he is such a bad doctor. I liked him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
