Barry ALAN Ogin's Online Review Report Card

I was very impressed by his Chronic narcissist,… “displaced ego” appearing to cover for his inability to establish a correct finding, within my simple case - despite the spinal surgeon correctly diagnosing and treating; Dr. Ogin failed to adequately understand their findings. For some reason, he than Concocted his own missed placed findings that are not supported within the record. Demonstrating physiatrist pain management Drs. Are not credible Professional practitioners and are highly overrated for their inabilities. My opinion, Pain management doctors appear to be a scam upon a Patients pocketbook. Stick with the surgeons and the neurologist.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Ogin 3-4 years now. For the first time in years I’m getting the care I feel I’ve needed that truly understands my conditions. He’s such a good listener and really cares about his patients and he’s really helped me through various options that can help my pain from very chronic injuries. I’d highly recommend Dr Ogin to anyone looking for a pain specialist

I'm currently a patient of his, I'm very pleased with Dr Barry, I was in pain for over two years no one could find out what was wrong. I just like him. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable and clearly cares about what he does.

This man is WORTHLESS. He sent phantom referrals to neurosurgeons then tried to back track and never actually put prescriptions in file when called in never received. Never looks at nor records current records and never listens. Mentions insurance and non acceptance of prescriptions to make you feel like you're a worthless person for being on SS even though the end goal is to get off of it! Treats a body like its play-dough even after warning please be gentle. I can't believe a doctor can actually be like this I he frustrated is beyond words....I am flumoxed Thank God he is a minority type and there are so many others willing to be the exact opposite.

Very nice Dr. explains the procedure in full so I understand what’s going on. Nice sense of humor and assures me with my questions on surgery. Since I’m freaking out what’s going to be done. Nice gentleman

I have been seeing Dr. Ogin for over 10 years....my husband over 8 years. He is very professional,personable, & provides excellent care. His willingness to work with us and ability to restore our quality of life has been a huge Blessing! Follow the rules = excellent care....plain & simple! I am quite sure the profession he is in is very difficult at best with so many today pill shopping! Highly recommend him to anyone who honestly has a need and desires excellent care!

If you have other options, I would recommend you pursue them. A lot of ego without a lot of dedication or commitment to excellence to back it up. Also exhibits a lack of professionalism and an inappropriate rapport in this patient’s experience.

Dr Ogin is THE Best Dr in the world - anyone who is suffering with chronic pain after an accident, or something else - he cares. He truly does. He wants to see his patients LIVING. He doesn’t focus on negative things. After my accident..I was 27..scared, mad, confused.. and obviously in a lot of pain. Your life completely changes in an instant, and it’s not fair. It’s REALLY hard to learn how to cope not only with the pain, but how to not get stuck in a state of frustration that you’re in pain constantly now. Everything is different. For me it has kinda been like going through the ‘5 stages of grief’ .. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, then Acceptance. And sometimes even after the acceptance part doing it all over again. Dr Ogin helps to keep reminding you to live. Yeah, it sucks. But it’s ok to keep living, and doing stuff. Things that will make it hurt more..but even when it isn’t going to get better..he tries to help you do things you like to do anyway. And he helps with managing pain so you can. Now, yeah, I’m still in a lot of pain, it still sucks, but I’ve found my new normal, and it’s way easier to accept a new ‘normal’ than it is to be upset about it. Eventually! And I know that he is going to help make sure that I’m able to live and function in as little pain as possible. If you need a good doctor, he’s the best!! I’m reporting ‘Happy’ (seriously?) I just happened to be finding the main office address because it is Doctor’s Week, and see someone (who has written ALL negative reviews, about EVERYTHING, btw) COMPLETELY lying both about my dr of 4 years that I KNOW is NOTHING like this, but the entire practice as well. Not enough people race home to make a positive review for whatever they just experienced and enjoyed..Most people review when they are upset..everyone is guilty of this...BUT..this was a COMPLETE LIE.. this isn’t saying you don’t like the salmon at...Jing..(I have no idea if they have Salmon - if they do, I’m sure it’s fantastic) This is someone’s reputation and career!! That is NOT ok!! I don’t care what you ignorantly call ALL OF WESTERN MEDICINE, you are LYING, PUBLICLY! YOUR idea of a ‘problem’ is actually helping a great majority of our pain community (seriously..injections and creams to not equal pill pusher!) , and MANYYY physicians ONLY will do injections anymore, because they are scared of being pointed at by ignorant people like you. Ultimately, The patient suffers because of this too!!! First, really! All of us who have chronic pain are dealing with it and trying to live our lives, and these doctors are helping us. Offering to treat you holistically, which CROM does, thank god, and Dr Ogin is a PHYSIATRIST and specializes specifically in looking treating all the parts to improve us as a whole...physical therapy, emotional therapy, etc..ALL of these things together can make living with chronic pain manageable - holistically does NOT MEAN all natural, it means treat you as a whole to help treat the problem. Go to a ‘Naturopath’ and you’ll be taking bottles a DAY of weird vitamins that will have chemicals in them that haven’t been tested by the FDA. Go get acupuncture. Move to a different country with doctors. Sit under a tree. I really don’t care what hippie way you end up realizing doesn’t help, but do NOT lie about people. You owe him AND CROM an apology and remove your comments.
