We always have such a great experience at Children’s Hospital. It’s hard when your child is having to experience hard stuff, but the staff and volunteers always are professional and so kind. From the child life specialists to the cafeteria staff, we feel so cared for and safe! Thanks for taking such great care of our family!

We saw Dr. Darst, who is not our usual cardiac provider, but he covered for our specialist who was out socks and it was so kind of him. He added us to the end of his schedule so we could be seen the day of our originally scheduled appt. Dr. Darst was great with our 2 year old and he was very well versed at explaining our daughters current heart condition to me (who has no medical knowledge, unlike my husband) he made sure I understood everything and didn’t just talk to my husband like many specialists do since they can talk to him in medical jargon. Not only did he explain everything well, he also very encouraging as my daughters heart condition causes me a large amount of anxiety. I was unsure of how our appointment would go since we weren’t able to see the specialist we are comfortable with, but it was an overall great experience and we appreciate all the staff at Childrens and Dr. Darst greatly. I would definitely see him again if we needed.

Had an emergency with my child last weekend, he had to be flown in from another hospital. The staff at Children’s were amazing, beginning from the entrance to the ED to the OR. We had the best experience. Needless to say, the physicians were some of the best. Everything was done in a timely manner with lots of care and compassion.
