Christopher Porterfield's Online Review Report Card

I truly wish he was still in our area, but unfortunately he moved away, I believe in December 2020. His NPA, Mike Doyle, left shortly after. They finally found another cardiologist to replace them, but I no longer go there.

If Dr Porterfield is your doctor than you can absolutely not be in better hands!! In today's health care system, it is all about big corporate health organizations that are for profit and not patient care. Dr Porterfield is the most caring and incredibly gifted doctor that I have ever met. As I write this review Im trying to come up with words that describe the admiration and gratitude that I have towards him. The words incredible, caring, talented, compassionate, along with many others that describe perfection just don't seem to be enough. His bed side manner and his ability to describe both the diagnosis and the remedy put me at ease after seeing no less than 5 other doctors that never seemed to care or have the time to even call me back. This man saved my life. All the while giving me the comfort that a family member would give let alone a Doctor!! I never post reviews but Dr Porterfield is an exceptional man that Im proud to call my Doctor as well as a new friend. God Bless you Dr Porterfield!!

Treated for Afib and had imblasion done wemt well doing good so far ots been 1year so far since surgery

Dr. Porterfield is so unique.......and extremely competent. He recently performed a cardiac ablation on me for SVT's. There's something special about his demeanor that makes you feel super confident in his ability. Ablation technology is moving at such a rapid pace and Dr. Porterfield is on top of the latest procedures. It is not necessary to go to a large city hospital when we have one of the best physicians specializing in electrophysiology right here is San Luis Obispo.

Dr. Porterfield is a miracle worker! SLO is so fortunate to have this cardiologist! He has the kindest and most calm demeanor and he is excellent at what he does! My 76 year old moms A-Fib was preventing her from swimming and walking and traveling- all of the activities she loves. Dr. Porterfield performed a Cryoablation on her and she has resumed all of those activities. Let’s hope that Dr. Porterfield takes up permanent roots in SLO!!

Dr. Porterfield is a wonderful Dr. He truly cares about his patients. He takes plenty of time with you and listens to your concerns and addresses each and everyone of them. He also answers questions you send him on the portal, which is very much appreciated. I would refer him to anyone that needs a Cardiologist, he is the best!! Central Coast is very fortunate to have him.

I can't say enough positive about Dr. Porterfield. It seemed like I was in Afib all the time until I saw him for an ablation. He listened to all of my questions, showed me a video about ablation, and was so reassuring. I have so much confidence in him, and I'm so grateful he did my ablation. I feel sooo much better now that my Afib is managed.

Dr Porterfield made me feel so at ease. Hes so kind and passionate about his work. I would trust him with my life anytime. So happy he did my surgery.

Dr. Porterfield was very knowledgeable about my condition. He was kind, patient, and respectful of my concerns. He took a great deal of time and care in answering my many questions and addressing my concerns. He provided me with his cell number if I have any questions in the future. I felt well-cared for. I recommended him to any cardiac patient.
