I met with Dr. Chin for my radiation treatment for breast cancer. He helped explain all my options and made sure I was making an informed decision for my treatment. He and the entire staff were excellent and answered all my questions before, during and after treatment.

First of all when my partner was so weak that he could not make it to his first radiation appointment to relieve pain, Dr. Chinn was not happy that we canceled more than 24 hours before. He was insistent that he could relieve his pain. Did not listen that I could not get him to the car to come in. We called hospice that day and 2 days later, my partner died. I did receive a bill for his services and called to let them know death had occurred. We were in the process of settling the estate. What was the next step? This was the first medical bill I received at this time. I was told the bill would likely be written off. This was late May. Never received another bill. No more contact. The one and only bill was misplaced. They sent the account to a collection agency and I am getting phone calls 6 months later! If they had contacted the number they had or sent another bill, they would have been paid. This doctor and John Muir Radiation Oncology is only out for money. They do not come across as caring for their patients. I will say the nurses are great.If you can go somewhere else, please do. This is not the only Radiation Oncology in this area.
