Dr. Tynan is such a wonderful Dr and human being. Everything was handled with so much respect and empathy, I felt at ease from the moment I met her and her awesome staff. Dr. Tynan explains everything to you in a manner that is easy to understand, she never made me feel lost or confused and never talked down to me if I didn’t understand something / medical jargon. I absolutely feel so, so lucky that she became my Dr.

I just had surgery to with Dr. Tynan. Her bedside manner is exactly what and who I needed. She calmly and expertly explained the situation and backed her statement up with numbers and percentages. I felt safe being with her and her staff. I can’t say that rationally I am looking forward to my follow up appointment but I know her and her staff will make it as easy and comfortable as they can. Dr. Tynan was my moms surgeon for a double mastectomy. She was remarkably kind and showed compassion towards my mom while explaining the procedure and answered all questions with the same demeanor. Thank you Dr. Tynan! My moms surgery went so well! I am in awe. You are simply the BEST!

Dr. Tynan is without a doubt the best doctor I have ever met. She spent almost 2 hours explaining every aspect of my tests and all my options. Her kindness and concern were such a comfort and gave me so much hope when I was truly afraid for my life. I can't thank her enough and I feel blessed to have found her.

I was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer and had just a couple weeks to interview surgeons for my bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. I was told Dr. Tynan was a top notch surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. That was not my experience. Dr. Tynan was patient and kind. Then she told me she had to remove my nipples during surgery. She claimed there wouldn't be enough bloodflow to my skin after removing the cancer, so she had to remove more than I wanted. When I questioned why (as I think anyone would do in the scenario), she became annoyed and flustered trying to explain. She also told me I didn't really need them and didn't understand why I would be bothered having them removed. Her exact words were 'I know some people like them but you don't need them'. Maybe some people aren't bothered without them but I'm young and still value my physical appearance, so it was important to me to keep them. I consulted with two other breast surgeons who said removing my skin (and nipples) was absolutely not necessary, and found a plastic surgeon who saved EVERYTHING and achieved excellent results. I'm so glad I didn't choose to work with Dr. Tynan.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Tynan.....she made, what can be a devastating issue, so comfortable and easy. Her “bedside manner “ is outstanding. I absolutely feel so so lucky that she was my Dr. when I needed her. I love how down to earth she is, she’s very straight forward without being abrasive. You definitely know all the information you need to make the best decisions after talking with her. She’s definitely a 5 star Dr in my book.
