Dr. Patel takes time to explain the test results and discusses the course of action with you. He is knowledgeable, thorough and caring.

I have known Dr Patel since he arrived at the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center (RMCC) several years ago. I was diagnosed with CLL right before Thanksgiving, Nov 2009. I am still here. Those dreadful surgeries, biopsies, multiple chemotherapies, radiation and a multitude of other stuff made me sick and anxious. The past year (May 21 through Mar 22) has been horrendous, however Dr Patel's knowledge and experience has brought me back to feeling good again. He cares about me. He listens to me. I have seen the concerned look on his face and I know he sincerely cares about me. I am so thankful he is my Oncologist. Doc, you're the best. Additionally, Dr Patel's Staff and the lovely Nursing Staff at RMCC are absolutely wonderful. I am one fortunate individual to have all these folks taking care of me. They're all incredibly talented in their own medical specialties. Finally, a special shout out to Dr Madeera Kathpal, my Radiation Oncologist, St Francis Medical Center. Dr Kathpal and her staff were exceptional in the treatment of my lymphoma. We are so fortunate to have these professionals in Colorado Springs. Thank you so much. Dr Patel is caring and always takes the time to answer any questions I might have.

I don't think I can evaluate an oncologist. I don't have previous experience to compare.

Dr. Patel has been treating me for the past 2 years as a result of pancreatic cancer. He is excellent in his professionalism and concern for my wellbeing.

Man I came to Colorado in 2012 was under the care of Dr Brantley. He retired and told me Dr Jesal Patel would assuming the management of my care. Man God sent me the best. Since 2017 he has been watching my Then MGUS and 2019 He told me it went SMM and just recently I came across his mind because I had not did my proper follow ups and on May 19 RMCC called me in to get labs because he had not seen me in a few months. I got my labs on 19 May and seen the Dr Patel on 25 May. He reviewed all my labs and things looked fairly stable and he asked me am I having any bone pain. Something that could have been easily blown off as a groin pull I explained the pain in my hip and he ordered a PET Scan and bone marrow biopsy right away. On June 2 I got the PET Scan done and 6 June he called me to tell me he know why I was in pain that the PET scan showed a lytic lesion consistent with Active Multiple Myeloma And needed me to get on some chemo right away. So I can get a stem cell transplant. Man I am so thankful for Dr Patel That he listened to his intuition and I listened to him. I trust his every decision in my care. He is an awesome person and Dr. His team listens and answer my calls and e-mails 😊 I got through my first round and everything thing he explained is dead on. You have some good days and bad days and I just pray that the good out weighs the bad. Thank you Doc and team for all you do for the sick.You are the best. Each visit is excellent. Dr. Patel and staff are quite helpful.
