Pediatric Dental Center At Children's Hospital Colorado's Online Review Report Card

No stars. I took my 1 year old son back after I had already left from there thinking they would send me to the dentist next to children’s hospital. Not this knock off. My first experience they tried to make me sign a consent form saying there would be scrapes and bruises on my one year old son from the straps they would be using to hold him down. I immediately said no and took my baby from there. The second time I went back was because the Childrens hospital emergency room recommended me there ensuring me it was the one right next to the hospital, and that they’d put my baby to sleep for extractions. He needed extractions because the first time we went they wouldn’t put filling or anything to cover his teeth from getting worse. Seems like they only wanted to pull his teeth out. I go thought with the second time around because there’s a different doctor and she’s talking to me calm, assuring me that she’ll put NUMBING gel on his little gums so he doesn’t feel the shots since my baby is wide awake and not sleep like I was promised. She then is not the Dr even doing the procedure , an extremely rude man did it. There was no numbing gel which should be illegal because she told me she would use gel. She did nothing actually, she was the person that made me comfortable and a man and another lady were who did my baby. That was completely unprofessional for me to be lied to as a young mother. There was another lady in the room who witnessed her assure me of numbing gel. I would not recommend them. My child was also chocking, they didn’t lean him over till the end nor did they suck or rinse his mouth. This was in august. Kaylyn Hudson D.M.D is the lady who promised numbing gel on my son before the shots and lied. I had never talked to the man before he came in and immediately started on my son Dr. Abidin Hakan Tuncer . This encounter offended me and traumatized me. I would never take him to the dentist again until he can tell me. That was so wrong.

I called to schedule an appointment for my special needs son, lady who took call Was screaming and i felt she was being racist. Really bad person scheduling for a surgery.

If I give zero stars I would! We drove 6 hours for an appointment to be told they didn't do the procedure we needed. Our local dentist sent a letter to them several months in advance explaining what we needed done ( they admitted to having the letter in her file) they definitely do not look at or review things before a visit. Do not recommend

Simply terrible. Everything bad the other reviews say is true. It takes months to get an appointment, they might cancel on you, you can't reschedule if you need to, you'll never see the same dentist twice, they're not especially great with kids, and most importantly, they have absolutely no idea what they're doing administratively. It's like they asked a random high school kid to take over the front desk as their first job and the result is as you would expect. I spent a week trying to get them to send dental records to an orthodontist's office and was ultimately unsuccessful, as all they sent were some older medical records and one snapshot, without any of the x-rays that they just took the day I started inquiring, nor any of the others that were on file after being a patient for years. With so many other options out there, you would do well to take your business elsewhere. It's a tragedy that this place so badly sullies the reputation of what is otherwise a fantastic hospital.

Problems abound. Look elsewhere. Used this dental office for several years—downhill slide the entire time. Took 6 months to get an appointment because "schedule had not been released yet," and pray you never need to reschedule, which is literally impossible. Every visit is a different dentist without any continuity (at either Broomfield or Aurora locations) and they aren't especially talented at dealing with kids anyway.

Amanda Bogart. She is irresponsible. I have requested an appointment for my son, who is studying in Oklahoma, more than two months in advance and she has changed my appointment twice. I don't know if it is discrimination or an issue with the insurance policy I have. I have offered two types of policies, including Cigna, and without offering any alternatives, she has changed my appointment twice. My son traveled to Denver for this test. They cannot have doctors who earn millions being so irresponsible.

It took 6 months to get an appointment because the schedule had not been released by the supervisors.” When we finally got an appointment we waited so long in the waiting room that we had to leave so they could go to lunch. My child was in a chair with a bib and glasses and we were asked to come back later! My child was in tears at this point because she is already afraid of this place. We came back after lunch and they couldn’t even do all of the things scheduled. They did some of it and had us come back for the “first morning appointment” yet when we got there we waited another 45 mins while 5-6 other people went ahead of us. We called patient services. From talking to them I can tell why these problems aren’t being ratified. Don’t take your child to this dentist. We will never be back.

It is very bad to get an appointment, my son had an appointment a month ago, maybe more than a month, the doctor said that he has cavity and needs to be treated soon. I call every day, but they don't give an appointment,I am not satisfied at all.

It needs more organizing in the parts of circulation, but it's good in general!

I’ve been taking my kids here for years and overall I have had a good experience. Doctors and dental assistants have all been good to us. The only downfall is the appointment schedule is very far out.
