List of University Heights Rehab & Care Community's Reviews
My brother, Brent, has been at this facility for about a month now. I went to visit him about two weeks ago. Lots of activities happening. I was most impressed with all of the help. The staff and nurses were positive and cheerful, the hallway walls were decorated with upcoming events and celebrated holidays. The facility had lots of space for my brother to go and relax if he wanted to leave his room, including a safe outdoor area. When I call the facility, I am transferred to my brother's room by the staff walking over to his room with a cordless phone he can use since he does not have a cell phone. I am grateful that a place like this exists for folks recovering from strokes, etc. Thank you, University Heights crew!
Want a place that doesn't answer the phone, or the nurses hang up on you? YOU LANDED AT THE RIGHT SPOT. Don't be fooled by the numerous employees that are leaving reviews, they know they wouldn't trust this place to babysit a plant.
Great facility, Great residents and staff members. I have worked at University heights for just under 2 years and this facility has come so far
I see them taking good care of my mom I really love the place
Used to be much nicerUpdate: I find it even more disturbing that you have no record of me being in your building in the last month. Sounds really safe.
1st room visit since March 2020. From walking in to entering my brothers room. I saw professionals doing the work they are paid to do. Friendly smiles. Every resident was being taken care of. My brothers room was clean. He was enjoying his tv. Clean.
In nursing It is not uncommon to put resident care before yourself. Hard work and tirelessEfforts often met with more stress and demands. It is always wonderful to see themget better. All the hard work seems alwaysworth it then.
At University Heights our staff works very hard to provide the best care we can. We love our residents and it shows through our Activity department who has been amazing at keeping our residents busy through the covid restrictions with creative ways to interact safely and still have fun. Through the Nursing department in meeting there needs and offering encouragement through these tough times. Through our incredible Therapy department in keeping our blessed residents in shape even though they aren't able to go outside as often as they would like. I would like to salute our staff for giving generously of themselves to help our precious residents to continue smiling through the past year and through many more. Thank you University Heights Staff for all you do, you are appreciated.
All positive. A great experience. ❤
my loved one has been there since Sept 2020 and we have had nothing but poor experiences with University Heights. Since we are in a pandemic our access is limited so we don't know how they are being taken care of however so far we have had the following reoccurring problems; my loved one does not have a phone of his own so we call the facility, we have to call back multiple times because calls often get disconnected or transferred to a voicemail, hold times have lasted past an hour (you want to hang up but your afraid to especially if they are getting your loved one up for the call) They have put the wrong resident on the phone, they have miss-scheduled visits not to mention they have brought out the wrong resident for our visits, we are in the process of trying to get him switched to other care and now people aren't returning the calls so we can make sure the paperwork is order.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
