I had cataract surgery with Dr Nichols, April 14, 2022 first eye, second eye April 28, 2022. I had the mono lens, both eyes came out perfect! My eye sight was very bad, I thought I would have to wear glasses for long distance after the surgery, but I can happily say, I see perfectly fine long distance and no glasses! I do wear glasses for reading, which I have no problem with. Dr. Nichols and his staff, along with the hospital staff are wonderful!! Extremely helpful, kind, and competent!

Had an early morning appointment, got right in to start the preliminaries before I saw Dr. Nichols. Great staff and very helpful. I am very comfortable when I am talking with Dr. Nichols. He puts you at ease as soon as he walks in. The best part is he explains everything that is going on with the eyes so that I can understand it.

Dr Nichols has operated on my eyes several times---he is knowledgeable, kind, and his staff is keen, too. I highly recommend him to everyone!

Dr. Nichols performed surgery to correct my strabismus (eyes not straight), which had been getting worse in the past few years. The results were near perfect--my eyes are straight now. Wow what a difference in my appearance! Should have had this done years ago, but I was hesitant because previous attempts when I was 1 or 2 years old and lived elsewhere were less than successful. I'm now 62 so doubt I'll be able to develop depth perception which I've never had, but just the change to my appearance made getting the surgery well worthwhile. I highly recommend Dr. Nichols for his surgical skill, knowledge, and ability to convey details of medical issues and risks associated with the surgery in a way that is easily understood.

Did my cataract surgeries. Competent and friendly. Great staff too.

Dr. Nichols and his staff have always provided us with excellent and timely service. I recently had cataract surgery for both eyes. Everything is looking good, literally, at this point.

GET A 2ND OPINION! My daughter has been a pt of this office for 10 yrs. She is now 15 & due to her prescription has always has to wear extremely thick eye glass lens and according to Nicole, the contact lens "specialist" her contact lens were the "best they could do". We never questioned this, and shame on us! She recently walked out of a new eye Dr with glasses & contact lens & immediately started reading license plates, street signs and more! She had no idea everything she was missing. SO SAD

We waited over an hour for an evaluation of our 7 month old daughter and was told that her vision looked fine and to come back 6 months for a follow up appointment. A few weeks later I still had concerns and called to schedule an earlier follow up appointment and was told there was no availability for over 2 months. I ended up taking my daughter to an optometrist that is part of the InfantSEE program (free evaluations for any child under 12 months) and she was diagnosed as being extremely farsighted during the first appointment. A week later she got glasses and it has changed her life (she has caught up in gross and fine motor development and is so much happier and more engaged). I disappointed that Dr. Nichols missed such an obvious case of farsightedness, especially because of the profound change I have witnessed in my daughter since she got glasses. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dr. Nichols and would recommend infants be screened by someone trained in InfantSEE program.

I thought the initial staff assessment and the pre-surgery discussion with Dr. Nichols were professional and pleasant. The actual surgery process (checkin, surgery, & post-surgery visit) was (again) professional and pleasant. I am very happy with the result.
