I really don't like writing negative reviews, but I feel that I must in this instance. I visited Dr. Davis for a very serious elbow fracture that needed surgery. He said surgery would be in 2 weeks due to swelling (even though, as I told him, the ER physicians said it should be ASAP). I later learned that Dr. Davis was scheduled to be out of the office for the next week +. So was that the reason for the 2-week delay? That made me feel quite uncared for. Also, relative to the swelling, Dr. Davis didn't provide a sling, didn't tell me to keep it elevated, and never called in the pain prescriptions that he said he would. They just never did, and they never followed up. It was so strange. I was just told by his office that they would "get back with me" to schedule surgery. Of course, as I think we all would do, I went to another ortho surgeon. That other ortho (very highly ranked nationwide) took new X-rays and said I needed surgery immediately (again, the same advice as the ER doctors said at the time of the accident). This other ortho got me scheduled for surgery quickly. I was given a sling, and instructions on elevating my elbow, told details about the surgery, the prognosis, etc., and the pain prescriptions were called in right away. In short, Dr. Davis seems very nice, but I must say I was underwhelmed.
