Very disappointed with this MD. Ms. Ditton talked down to me, was very dismissive, and in a hurry to finish the appointment. In her haste, totally missed the diagnosis, which another endocrinologist found without a problem. Arrogant and "holier than thou" attitude.
Worse doctor ever. Hurried through visit, talked down to me, and was very dismissive. Wait time is 5 months to see her highness. When that wait involved me missing a needed infusion, which could not wait, she had me thrown out of the entire BMC, making me loose all of my doctors. what a mean spirted, unethical, horrible physician. I do not want to see a physician that does not want to see me, but causing me to loose all of my doctors, which will cause me a great deal of harm, is unbelievable. Don't turn your back!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Ditton for various endocrinology care for almost a year now. She was the first doctor to truly listen to me and figure out what was going on. Once we figured it out, she helped me get on a treatment plan that works for me. I now see her every 6 months and look forward to our visits. She is caring, compassionate, and overall has changed my life by truly listening to me. As a young female, I would often tell my symptoms to other doctors who would dismiss them or try to treat them in other ways. Dr. Ditton was the first doctor that took the time to listen to my story and help me. I’m so appreciative of her!
Friendly and caring. She understood "paget's disease" and is helping me to be managable. She listened provided the care that I needed.
Note: I gave 1 star because as a current patient Dr Ditton is difficult to get in touch with lately and she's scheduling 3 months out with her current patients, so I'm left in the dark for 3 months. Dr Ditton is absolutely amazing! She listened to me and was working with me on a wonderful treatment plan. However, lately it's been difficult to get in touch with her and she's scheduling 3 months out! This has created a serious problem as my treatment plan took a negative turn and I need guidance on next steps. I can't wait 3 months for guidance. :(
She is so knowledgeable, I would recommend her for anybody who needs an endocrinologist. She listens to her patients.
Dr. Ditton has proved herself a fantastic HRT provider for trans patients. There’s a nurse there who is experienced with HRT injections and he helped me to do my first shot in office. Dr. Ditton has been great at setting up follow up appointments to check my blood work, and has written referral letters when requested. She has done a great job, and I am glad I came here.
Dr. Ditton was so kind and patient, right off the bat. I felt relieved when I first went to her, because she seemed to be non-judgmental and truly care about me, clearly curious about my particular experience of my condition and how she could help me get to a better place with it all.
Dr. Ditton is the kind of doc I avoid. I have a serious hormone condition, I've discovered. She had her assistant leave that info on my vmail. Then no follow up. I called her - no return call. No referral or explanation about treatment. Either she's too busy or she doesn't care. Doctors who let patients like me fall through the cracks end up losing them one way or another.
She is experienced with hypothyroidism. Her medical assistant is arrogant and poor communication should be expected if you choose her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
