Negative experience all around and I hope anyone considering this office is helped by this review. I was referred here by my primary doc to follow up on a somewhat ambiguous test. The office is incredibly hard to reach. On numerous occasions I spent more than 30 minutes trying to get through. Dr Clark seems capable enough, although he will explain things in excruciating detail and seem to leave the decision to the patient. However, the office is completely mismanaged. I worked through a series of tests over multiple appointments that resulted in the office ordering me an MRI. During that period, on two occasions I received a call from the office with a question, left on my voicemail. In one instance I spent 45 minutes trying to get through and then gave up. In the second I literally dialed the office back in three minutes, got through and the person who had just called me (MA? PA?) was gone for lunch. I left a message and asked them to call me back. Never heard a thing. My MRI result - the MRI ordered by the office - came back and because the format is plain language the answer was easy to see "very likely the scariest outcome". I assumed I'd hear from the office. . . nope. I decided to enjoy my holidays and then called the office. I explained the situation and that I was both surprised I never heard from them but also anxious now to meet with the doctor. Best they could do was a telehealth appointment almost two weeks out. That appointment time came, and I was waiting when the office texted me they were having trouble, could Dr. Clark just call me. I said absolutely. I waited until 30 minutes after my appointment time and let them know I could not wait longer and moved on to my day. While I was on another call for my job, the office called and did not leave a message. Unreal. Despite being part of the larger Colorado Urology group, this particular office does not offer or participate in the patient portal or online payment system, so you either pay by check & mail, or if you, like me, have an HSA card, you must endure their interminable phone waits just to pay invoices. This is one of the worst medical experiences I have ever had and I would strongly encourage anyone starting down the road to working with a urology office to consider another one. tl/dr The office is mismanaged, nearly impossible to reach and has ridiculous wait times and disregard for patient time and care.
Dr. Clark & staff were professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. He expertly performed a complex robotic nephrectomy avoiding a myriad of unusual vein anatomy. He was amazing! Steady hands, tons of experience and thoroughly answered all questions.
Dr. Clark treated my daughter and was caring and solved an issue that was persistent for 3 months and went misdiagnosed as a UTI when it was a kidney stone. She was so depleted and will be able to return to college healthy when it seemed she would need to take medical leave. He was so gracious to fit us in and took the time to run tests that previous urologist did not. We could not be more grateful ...
I don’t know why Dr Clark got such bad reviews. I just had a biopsy done and I thought he was informed, intelligent and had a good bedside manner. He really seemed to care about my personal well being and his staff was great. I asked the nurse about her experience and she said they working with dr Clark was the best experience she has ever had with any doctor. I thought he was great.

Strongly recommend you to read all reviews here and pursue one of the many other urologists in the Boulder/Denver area. Worst medical experience of my life thus far. * Came in and saw his PA, who told me I have a certain condition ("X") * Had an ultrasound performed, met with Dr. Clark who assured me I definitely don't have X and even if I did it would not affect the original reason my PCP referred me * No actual opinion on the original reason my PCP referred me * Referred me to an local, independent medical organization and to do Y, Z with them * Called independent group and they were very clear they do not do Y, Z there, that would be the job of a urologist (like Dr. Clark...) $1k well spent
I have had this procedure done many times, but this is the first time by Dr. Clark. It was much better then I had previously ever had. Much less pain or irritation!
Dr. Clark was outstanding. He was patient, knowledge, and helpful. His bedside manner is fantastic: he carefully reviewed my scans and thoughtfully explained everything. I was shocked how much time he spent with me until each of my questions was answered. And his experience vs so many other local urologists is unparalleled.
My son was seen. He was prescribed medication. He had a negative reaction to the medication. He called Dr. Clark. His call was never returned. It’s been over a month. A web follow up visit scheduled weeks in advance was cancelled. This has caused much distress to his patient.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
