List of Jennifer Christensen's Reviews
When my longtime Dr. retired about 10 years ago, I dreaded trying to find a new one. I wanted someone who was up-to-date on the latest medical knowledge, who was personable who was available without long wait times,, and whom I could trust. I lucked out in finding Dr. Christensen. She has all of those qualities and highly recommend her.
Dr. Jennifer Christensen has been my primary doctor since 2015. She has great bedside manner and is up to date on medical changes. She is patient, empathetic and listens well and an awesome doctor. She has helped me through a lot of medical issues.
Dr. Christensen has been my primary for around 15 years. She discovered my PKD many years back and since then has done a great job at adjusting all my medications to keep my bp as low as possible. She is truly a life saver and a great doctor.
Dr. Jennifer Christensen is the worst doctor I have ever encountered and should not be considered a doctor. After 15 years with her I went through a life threatening infection. My infection only became life threatening after her negligent care of it. She ultimately put my life endanger rather than helping save it. I have permanent scars and suffer everyday because of her and Boulder Medical Centers abusive behavior of me, their previous patient. During their treatment, I was hospitalized for a week. While I was in the hospital she lied to my doctors and blocked me from receiving further treatment. Then when I got out of the hospital I had blood work done through her, in which she reported to me that my white blood cell count was normal (I have a vm proving she stated that). I downloaded my labs directly from LabCorp and was outraged to see that my white blood cell count was higher than when I left the hospital a week before and in fact was in red with the word “Alert” next to it on the LabCorp report. I promptly spoke with her nurse regarding the lie and reported it to the Patient Advocate at Boulder Medical Center. I have a letter dated a day after I reported the lie, stating that I am banned from being a patient at Boulder Medical Center. The letter was signed by Patrick Menzies, CEO of Boulder Medical Center and states that they had come to this decision after a thorough review… apparently a thorough review happens in less than 24hrs after reporting a complaint to the Patient Advocate. I have the Patient Advocate on record regarding this. So good doctoring is less important to them than legally protecting themselves. If you want your health in good hands, then stay far away from Dr. Jennifer Christensen and Boulder Medical Center.

She actually LAUGHED at me when I told her I dance. Which I have always done. I also climbed Long's Peak 4 times. Hiked in the mountains Often. At that time, I was 5'10" and weighed 198 lbs (weight gain due to seizure/psych meds)--I'd always weighed around 128 lbs. before the meds. Every time I saw her, she was Obsessed about my weight. No matter for what reason I made the appt, it was always "your weight, your weight." My father was "50 lbs overweight" from age 65 up. He walked 5 miles a day, did push-ups, danced was very active & alert. Lost he 50 lbs & died of pneumonia after becoming too weak to be very active. Weight is NOT the guideline for health. My BP was always normal, all other tests normal. She ruined me for doctors. I mistrust doctors now because of her. Her PA was often high strung & freaked out. She kept telling me that one of my meds was a Schedule I drug. NO, it's a schedule IV. I know how to read & I have read the guidelines for psych' meds. She would shriek "This is a Schedule I drug you are on!!! It is VERY addictive!!!" Get someone who can read, please.
I found Dr. Christensen when I first came to live in Boulder about 13 ears ago. I have a rare blood disease. She took me on and has always kept aware of any information about new treatments and any contraindicated medicines and/or treatments for my disease. All of her referrals to needed specialists have been excellent. I feel lucky to have Dr. Christensen watching over my physical and mental health.

She is focused and thorough, and committed to giving her patients the best care possible through accurate diagnosis and knowledge of many medical and therapeutic services to best manage any condition. Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
