Great Doctor. So helpful, took time to explain and answer all my questions. Great front office.

Reaching the staff at Dr. Lerner's office is basically impossible. I have wasted so much time on hold waiting to speak to someone, just to have my call diverted to voicemail. Earlier this year, I called multiple times to ask for a re-fill, but couldn't reach anyone. In fact, I waited on hold for 30+ minutes and then someone just hung up on me. The staff even lost the lab results that I dropped off in person. They never followed back with me to arrange for additional lab work, like I requested. As a patient with chronic illness that needs long-term management, I've never been treated like this in my life. I will be seeking another endocrinologist, in large part because of how impossible it is to reach anyone at the office. What use is a doctor's office if I can't call and reach a single person in order to request a refill, lab work, or an appointment?

Can’t speak to Dr. Lerner - but seems I’m not the only one with complaints about the office. Waited two months for an appt, only to have been given the wrong time during scheduling, and missing the actual appt by 20 minutes, and now needing to reschedule in another 6 weeks. Not impressed.

Dr. Lerner is great! Unfortunately, this office is terrible at communication. I can never get through to them, always leave voicemails, and rarely get a response. It’s a shame because Dr. Lerner is great.

No one ever returns my calls. AND NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! Says they will return my call with 2 business days - REALLY? And that never happens.

Dr. Lerner was my endocrinologist for years and finally after finding someone new have I learned that she mismanaged my hypothyroidism for years. She never did complete testing, only rudimentary and would rather read test result numbers than listen to whole story from patient. She would never call with test results or next steps- she only had staff do that and they would spend 2-4 minutes on the phone with me to increase or decrease medication and never thyroid levels consistently under control. She’s rude, short sided, doesn’t see whole picture and isn’t curious, rushed, can’t be bothered by patients, only interested in numbers.

This office has the worst communication. They will not order your meds and if they do they order the wrong ones. Do not go here.

This office is completely incompetent. It has taken so long to get a message ordered and then they ordered the wrong medication. Do not go here.

I work with doctors on a daily basis and have excellent relationships, but Dr. Lerner I found her the most unprofessional, rude, out-dated in her knowledge in some of the most recent new literature in Endocrinology, and acted as a huge set-back for my personal physical/mental health. In addition to awful bed-side manner, and who against the opinions and diagnosis of 2 other MD's I finally sought out after her, insulted me saying that my blood sugar dropping from a normal 12 hour fast of 86, then taking the drink for a glucose tolerance test, measured 1 hour later at 67 and at 2 hours later at 39, "not of concern to her". When I asked why then do I often times experience dizziness, forgetfulness, irritability, foggy thinking, etc. when I can feel my blood sugar drop but upon having protein/carb return to normalcy? She actually said nothing. In the silence, I asked her, so you're saying this is all in my head? She responded, "Well at least you know you won't die". (By blood sugar)
