Dr. Lafferty has been the pediatrician of my children since my first child was born in 2012. We love Dr. Lafferty! She is caring and reasonable. She will spend as much time with you during appointments as we need. Often times by my own doctors I feel very rushed. I feel that they are in and out in such speedy whirlwind that once the appointment is over I am left with a "what just happened" type of feeling, but this is absolutely never the case with Dr. Lafferty or any of the doctors or nurse practitioners we have encountered in this practice. Dr. Peggy Lafferty always leaves you feeling satisfied with appointments and well cared for and her perspective, in my opinion , is very reasonable. She knows that children are all different and there is generally no one set of rigid rules to go by, but she clearly communicates options of care and treatment leaving us armed with the knowledge we need to give our children the best care that will work for their particular set of circumstances. She has a good balance of knowledge on medical and natural options when advising us on caring for our children and she is extremely down to earth and personable! We love her and cannot say enough good about her as a pediatrician!!

Dr. Lafferty saw my son briefly when he was an infant. He had a digestive condition and she continuously urged me to stop breastfeeding. Every visit, from the time my son was 2 months to the time he was 8 months, she would tell me the only way to solve his issues were to stop nursing him. I would cry in her office, and finally went to Children's Hospital to have him evaluated to see if nursing really was the issue. Children's advised me to continue nursing as it was the best thing for him, and that his condition would resolve with time. We immediately stopped seeing her. I do not feel that she is supportive or knowledgable about the benefits of breastfeeding.

Dr. Lafferty has been my son's doctor for six years. She is very knowledgable, great at making him feel comfortable with a great bedside manner and accurate and informative with her diagnoses. She is very good at informing newer parents what to expect with their children. I recommend her wholeheartedly.
