However, 30.0% of the feedback was negative, primarily citing unresolved billing issues, lack of communication, and long waiting times for prescriptions. Overall, the practice provides excellent medical care, yet it needs stronger administrative processes.ScoreDoc Score

Front staff is not pleasant. Going somewhere else. Thanks for nothing....
Dr Parks has treated my gout for several years. Up until the last couple of years she was 5 starts. Since then I have had the need to get a prescription refilled to treat an outbreak of gout, the first time it took the nurse 6 days to call me back to get the prescription refilled. If you know anything about gout, no one is waiting that long, and yes I went to Urgent Care. Then I was going on vacation and realized that the prescription was running low, I called the office and asked them to refill, the person who answered the phone argued with me when I asked him to walk a note back to the nurse, explaining that the last time I was in need they left me for 6 days, he basically told me I could get an appointment in 30 days, or go to Urgent Care. When I said look I just need a refill, shouldn't be that hard, he told me those were my options. Well my option is to go to a Doctor who's staff are concerned about my well being.
I had had foot pain for almost a year and had trouble running, standing, and even sleeping. Dr. Parks was already a trusted doctor (my son had seen her for foot surgery years ago) and I found her friendliness and openness to trying different treatments helpful. After many tries, Dr. Parks and I settled on surgery. In fact, three different procedures ( endoscopic plantar faciotomy, a first MTPJ cheilectomy, and a hemicap toe joint replacement) that she explained in great detail with compassion. Before and after my surgeries, she spent time answering my questions and ensuring that I was healing. Today, I can move my foot without pain and I'm back to doing all my favorite activities!
I recently saw Dr. Parks for bunion surgery, and I could not be happier with the results. She is kind and patient, and explained the treatment and surgery to me very thoroughly. The surgery itself was a total success, and the after care program was helpful and informative. I highly recommend Dr. Parks for any podiatry related needs.
The Boulder Medical Center is overcrowded and parking is difficult. Dr Parks came in looked at the X-ray and say I had some ligament damage to my toe. I asked if it is something that will heal, she said “no probably not”. “Buy this night splint, gel orthotics, regular orthotics and we will see you in a month”. She then walked out. She spent about 5 minutes for $300 and I have no idea why I am supposed to do all these things if it won’t heal. She was in and out of the exam room before I could ask any follow up questions. I will keep looking for a podiatrist who can help- or at least explain what is going on.
I saw Dr. Parks for chronic arch pain, and my experience was not great at all. I don't normally write poor reviews because I know people just have their preferences, but I work in vet med and I treat my animal patients with more compassion and respect than I received as a human patient in this medical center. Her medical assistant was very helpful, informative, and kind, but nobody else was. There was a shadower in the exam room with Dr. Parks, which I encourage and enjoy usually, but she only spoke to him about me while I was in the room. She was so focused on explaining things to him, that I didn't even feel like a person in the room. After nearly $400 (after insurance), and a pair of shoe inserts that were knowingly too small and broke within 3 weeks, the rudest front desk staff I have ever met, and persisting foot pain, I decided to take my services elsewhere and am much happier.
Had deformed right ankle fusion done in 2007 after no other doctor would reconstruct and fuse it. Life changing result. Had left ankle fused August 2022 with resulting partial mobility and again amazing results. At 82, I am able to resume golf and ice skating.

I broke my leg skiing, and Dr Park did a syndesmosis repair surgery. Everything went great, and with the recommended physical therapy, I was out snowshoeing and hiking again in about 10 weeks!
Dr. Parks did foot surgery for me after an injury -- healing is proceeding well with minimal pain. She also fixed my husband's feet after bunions and years of distance running wear and tear. We appreciate her efficiency, humanity and skill, and trust her fully.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
