List of Regenexx's Reviews
The people at the Centeno-Schultz Clinic are doing marvelous work. Had a procedure done there 2 weeks ago and was very impressed with the team there. Very professional operation. I read the Regenexx blog everyday and very much appreciate Dr. Centeno for his pursuit in regenerative medicine and just his outlook on… well everything in regards to medicine! And the best part is that He and Schultz are raising up another generation of physicians that have the same heart and mind to carry it on further. That is very important. Currently I am in communication with Dr. Markle there about my orthopedic issues and I believe in him as a doctor. Very reliable. And I know they are all that way there.Anyways. Thats my review!:)
Bait and Switch.... Beware of the excessive consulting fee! Charged us 50.00 then billed us without notification of 500+++. Then had the nerve to lose our MRI and Xrays and totally stopped communications with us?
Too good to be true, it probably is. My procedure to repair on ongoing shoulder labrum tear did not work at all. Huge waste of my time and money. Yes I followed all the post-op procedures, few months later I am right back where I started. To add salt to the wound I continue to get random bills for various things months after the procedure and closing out my account.
Everything was great until I started asking about the efficacy of the procedure being recommended. Dr. Pitts was extremely condescending and dismissive of my questions and seemed to not like his medical expertise being questioned. If a patient is potentially going to spend 7,000$ for a procedure, questions should be met with thoughtful responses
My mother is a patient and asked me to give a review for her, but we don't know how to get her profile back. So, I'm speaking for my mother. She said Dr. Pitts has helped her alot. She sends her deepest gratitude!!
1 year ago I had stem cell and blood platelet procedure done on my back. I am at near 80 percent. I always and will continue to recommend Centeno-Schultz to everyone I know or hear are having problems. The doctors, nurses and staff were top notch in all areas.
I had a very unprofessional disappointing experience with Dr. Centeno. I went to the clinic because I was diagnosed with a torn labrum and had a recommendation of labral reconstruction. I also have significant neck issues I was hoping to keep from progressing and hopefully address some pain. My first visit was disappointing in that I was told to be prepared for ultrasound examination on the areas of concern but that did not happen at all. I had a quick visit with Dr. Centeno and his assistant, Karla. When I left, I was told they would send me a recommendation for treatment. A few days later I obtained the recommendations and after a number of emails had to call just to get some explanation of the treatment. I decided to do the treatments which included my neck, back, shoulder and hip. I had a lot of difficulty getting any response from Karla despite having a number of questions about procedures I knew nothing about. The communication was poor at best - until payment was requested. I was given an new recommendation after an MRI was obtained and I agreed to have it added to the treatment. I arranged to take 2 days off work, get transportation to and from Broomfield and had the treatment. I saw Dr. Centeno for a second after the procedure but not before or at any other time. Afterwards, I could tell my hip had not been treated. I received emails from Karla informing me all went well and all areas had been treated. When I pointed out that my hip was not done - she emailed (never ever called me despite my request to talk personally) that it was her mistake and could I come back the following week. "My apologies" is all I got. I had to take another 2 days off of work and went back the following week. Neither Karla nor Dr. Centeno even bothered to come talk to me before or after the second procedure. They did not care at all that I had to go through the entire process AGAIN and all the personal expense I had to endure to make it happen. I honestly have no idea if he even knows he treated me 2 weeks in a row. He has still never communicated with me. I have never had such poor customer service or less care from a doctor (or any professional really) especially since this is an out of pocket business. I am sure Dr. Centeno is brilliant but he has zero patient care or concern. His assistant is equally incapable of communicating and impersonal. I received my medical records after the fact and see that they did not even note my torn labrum as a concern when I went in for my evaluation. That was THE reason I went to the clinic. The whole experience was disappointing, demeaning, careless and entirely unprofessional.THANKFULLY, the other people at the clinic were incredibly helpful and gracious and kind of appalled that I was back one week later. The staff helped me find who to complain to and how to proceed. I spoke with the wonderful Office manger, Vanessa, who scheduled me with Dr. Schultz because i was not going back to Dr. Centeno. I actually was not going to go back ever. Dr. Schultz has taken over my care and spoke to me at length on a SUNDAY to try to help me and try to make things right. I watched him come and go at my different visits to the clinic and he clearly cares for his patients. I would NOT recommend Dr. Centeno (or his assistant Karla) if you want any measure of kindness, caring for your well being or confidence in your procedures.
I came to the Centeno-Schultz clinic with a newly diagnosed degenerative spine condition and severe pain. Dr. Markle went through my MRI with me and recommended Platelet Rich Plasma injections in several parts of my lower back, along with physical therapy. After the procedure, Mark, the on-site PT, was very helpful to meet with. He helped me connect with my body, explaining mindful techniques to address my posture and neuromuscular movements. Though not yet fully recovered, I do feel better and have confidence that I've gained a foundation for future health.

RATE him a big ZERO rating. I have seen Dr. Centeno 4 times (from Virginia to Colorado (over $25K spent). He has helped me ZERO and feel his clinic is a rip off. I last went 11-12 May 2021; spent $8,000. and got zero relief from my main pain Occiput region (only blood can be used for PRP injections in ligaments that was never taken). I AM SPENDING ANOTHER $1200. 8 JUNETO GET PRP INJECTION IN TYSON CORNER IN MY OCCIPUT AREA. He performed nerve blocks in my occiput region (BUT NEVER TOOK BLOOD!!!! and again in my C-0 areas. He never took my blood for PRP (only way to get PRP is to take blood) in occiput ligaments but said he took Stem Cells from my hips. Yet when I asked for Procedure summary, it showed nerve block meds but never mentioned inserting stem cells in my C-0 (don't believe he even put stem cells in). This Clinic is a rip off; if you go more than once with little or no results don't go back. He cares about money; not my pain. SHAPE OF HIM AND HIS ASSISTANT KARLA

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
