Chris Thiagarajah's Online Review Report Card

I went to consultations with both Dr T and Dr F for upper and lower eyelids. Dr T is respectful, highly qualified, (double board certified) and billed my insurance. I knew my cost on the same day and booked surgery 3 weeks out. Dr T said he would not do the lower lid, since I would not benefit from that surgery. My insurance was approved and billed. Easy choice and I am happy with results.Dr F had an intern with him. He told me he could not make me young and beautiful again, and ran the back of his hand down her cheek. I asked about cost which seemed to be a big mystery. He said I did not qualify for insurance coverage. He said his biller would contact me in a few days to let me know about cost. The front desk was ready to book my surgery right away, but I said I need to know cost. I was then shuffled into his med spa and ended up buying his all- in -one face cream formula. After a week, I called the biller, and she said "Let me ask". $13K out of pocket.

Trust is the word that comes to mind in my experience with Dr. Thiagarajah and PAOS. I was involved in a serious accident and my first encounter with Dr. T was wise advise to let the tincture of time heal my wounds to see if surgery was necessary. When I did return to have surgery, both Dr. T and his staff were outstanding in correcting my eye problem. I am so very thankful to have found Dr. T and to have had my surgery in his capable hands. He is truly an artist in his field, and most of all a good and honest man. I am so happy with the results and highly recommend Dr. Thiagarajah.

I am very pleased with the blepharoplasty surgery on both my upper eyelids and below my eyes (bags below the eyes). I could not be more pleased with the results, the process and the professionalism shown by Dr. Thiagarajah and the staff at PAOS. Dr. Thiagarajah did a great job of explaining the surgery, risks, expectations and recovery process. He is patient, listened to my questions and concerns, and answered them clearly. He provided me with a copy of the book on blepharoplasty that he wrote, I read it, and it helped me to be an informed patient, which is important to me. I would encourage anyone working with Dr. Thiagarajah to read his book! I also felt very comfortable with all of the staff I worked with at PAOS. My before and after photos are amazing and I look 10 years younger after the surgery and recovery. I would enthusiastically endorse Dr. Thiagarajah if you are considering blepharoplasty surgery!

I, honestly, can't say enough positive comments about Dr. Thiagarajah. Not only is he an exceptional surgeon, he is such a kind and compassion human being. As part of my due diligence process, I sought consults from a number of plastic surgeons. Dr. Thiagarajah was the only one who recognized that i was having chronic problems with dry eyes/allergies/infections and recommended that I delay my eye surgery until after my eyes were in their best health. This amounted to nearly a year that I was under his care prior to my surgery. He was incredibly patient, thorough and knowledgeable. Ultimately his guidance ensured that i had the best possible outcome once the surgery was performed. I am tremendously pleased with the result and so grateful for Dr. Thiagarajah!! I highly recommend him for any occuplastic surgery needs that you may have.

I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Thiagarajah in the operating room for a bit over two years. Let me tell you, you won't find an oculoplastic surgeon that cares more for his patient's well-being or cosmetic outcomes. He really goes the extra mile to make sure that your procedures are just right, precision is key in his ability to highlight your natural features to best effect. I've worked as a surgical assistant for over 10 years in operating rooms across the country, if I or my family ever needed cosmetic or reconstructive surgery this is the man I'd go to. His staff deserve a special mention as well, they genuinely care for your comfort before, during, and after your procedure. They are incredibly efficient and always maintain an upbeat attitude which made working with them a pleasure.

Every part of my visit here was exceptional. The staff answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable. I saw Dr Thiagarajah and my results were perfect. Plenty of parking.

WARNING -- DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE. READ THE REVIEWS IN DETAIL. It is difficult to even explain distress and grief that a bad plastic surgery or less than ideal operation can have. That said in my case my results were made worse by a deliberate action taken by a surgeon at this office. After searching and visiting offices for years in Denver area I was reffered, and re-Reffered to this office. Went in with concerns as a male about addressing Lower dark circles under the eyes.I was finally to go forward with a traditional INNER eyelid scarless procedure. An inner transconjunctival approach. Dare I say somewhat common -- This was explained to me and I was shown a picture on Dr T's iPhone. That was the extent of my consultation the 1st and 2nd time around pre op. Dr T removed the fat under my eyes, creating SOME improvement with one of them. Then in order to bend my face to his reality or with his copy paste approach drew a deliberate OUTER incision under one of my eyes. to create 'symmetry' There was no discussion, no orientation and no explanation before hand that on an INNER eyelid procedure a doctor is going to take in his own hands.As the other patients here have explained Dr T shooing people off, being told 'I just don't see it' -- My first follow up was a discertation about how 'pretty good' should not be compromised for 'perfection' -- literally he drew a line trying to create 'symmetry' in my eyes followed by total deflection. This office is trained in deflection and denial as much as they are surgery. All you will get if you are not happy is a runaround. DO NOT get trapped with this office. I have not met 1 doctor in 2 years of follow up who has indicated how B grade an outer incision is, and without permission from the patient is D grade frankly. As has been previously posted: On the surface Dr. T seems like a decent guy, but this behavior I believe was a combination of arrogance, the inability to admit an error and look for a resolution, and just plain inexperience.Drawing a line under someones eye to create symmetry is going to have consequences no matter what. Do not go near an office taking artistic liberations with your face. You will get NO SUPPORT if you are unhappy.

Not only are his results amazing, somehow he is able to accomplish perfection without inflicting ANY pain on his patients.
