Possible broken ankle. Arrived at 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon. “No X-Ray tech on site, there’s a nationwide shortage of X-Ray techs” Okay, sounds to me your outfit doesn’t offer competitive pay or benefits, so no one wants to work there!

I came in for an abscess that needed draining. I was anxious and in pain. Not only was I seen extremely quickly, each person I interacted with was incredible. Juan checked me in and was kind and treated me with respect. Sara was the MA and was gentle, patient, caring, and attentive. She made sure I was comfortable while I was waiting to be seen by Laura and was very kind when talking with me about my background and symptoms. Laura, the PA was also gentle, patient, caring, attentive, and informative. She knew I was very anxious and so she talked me through everything she was doing—the why, the how, etc. She talked throughout the entire procedure, telling me what she was doing and how long it would last; she was attuned to my pain threshold and gave me breaks when I needed it and encouraged me throughout the whole process of draining the painful abscess. She was incredible. She helped me manage my pain, and was descriptive with after-care steps. She answered all my questions and looked me in the eyes and validated all my concerns to help me feel comfortable and informed. I never felt rushed; I felt heard and acknowledged and cared about. I felt fully confident in my care. Sometimes, at a doctor’s office, I have felt more like an item on assembly line than a human needing physical and emotional care, but this was not the case with Advanced Urgent Care. The entire staff recognized and affirmed my humanity in my situation and executed excellent care. It has my highest recommendation.

Staff is so friendly and kind. I appreciate their time and attention in listening to me. I never felt rushed or hurried and it was clear they wanted to do all they could to get me feeling better.

Took my sick child in to be seen. They ran a couple test and just decided he had strep but no proof. Said they were sending it in to be cultured and comes to find out they never did! Don’t waste your time or money!

I came in on a Saturday evening because they were the only Urgent Care center open in my area after 6 pm. I had picked up a respiratory infection while on a trip, and by Saturday evening it was getting worse and I was having difficulty breathing (no, not Covid). Advanced Urgent Care was efficient, helpful, and caring, diagnosed an ear infection as well as the URI, and helped me find the only Walgreens pharmacy that was still open. Stellar! Would give them 10 stars.
