Horrible doctor tried to get me on IVIG when I didn’t need it he is a fraud

I had an appointment scheduled with Isaac Melamed. Per my doctor’s recommendation he was recommended. I made the appointment 2 month ago and waited patiently for my appointment. I never received a confirmation for the appointment even with calling a couple weeks earlier to confirm it. No one ever asked me for my phone or even an email address to confirmed it. I called on the day of the appointment to see why I had not received a call back or reminder call. They said they could not contact me because they had the wrong number and no email, and the doctor isn’t in the office today anyways. I will have to wait 2 more months for an appointment with said doctor. Maybe Isaac Melamed would not be so exclusive if he wasn’t too busy making his dollars for doctors. My health and care was never a priority for Isaac Melamed or his staff. This is typical care I have come to expect from denial doctors in the disablism/ableism health system. I know my only option for help/care is to continue to request to be abused by the health system, Isaac Melamed and his staff. Isaac Melamed and his practice has shown that they are all talking puppets for a failed health system. If you are looking for Health and Care you should look elsewhere.

I was misdiagnosed by Doctor Melamed and put on IVIG infusions for over a year every three weeks. I wasted an entire day. I feel pretty confident it was just a money grab. I had a follow up appointment and when I showed up they said he was out of the country again. They apologize for not contacting me before hand. I set a second appointment and waited over two hours and finally left. I was never contacted by his office and I just didn’t go back. I would think Dr. Melamed would want to follow up on a patient who had been receiving IVIG infusions for over a year because of his diagnosis. He may have been a caring doctor at one point, but has turned his practice into a money making system at his patient’s expense.

Isaac Melamed is condescending to patients. If you are not prepared to do whatever this man says (even when it doesn't make sense or seems dangerous), find another provider. This man will give you the same patriarchal lecture each visit. He does not respect patients or their autonomy. He does not appreciate educated patients and thinks he is the only person who has the keys to this knowledge. Choose Issac Melamed if you would like a man to tell you what to do with your body. I highly recommend seeing another provider and not supporting this man's business.

Isaac Melamed is an actual bully. He will waste your time and money. He is condescending and rude. He does not respect patients. I am not positive, after three visits, that he even sees his patients as human. If you respect yourself, don't let this man disrespect you.

Isaac Melamed does not care about patients or their opinions on treatments. He is rude and gives the same patronizing lecture every visit. He is self-important, but not actually a good doctor. Because he doesn't care what anyone else things, be prepared for him to demand you spend money on a battery of tests - and, you have no choice. If you think his treatment plan won't work for you, he doesn't care. Save your time and money -find a better doctor.

Dr. Melamed is a fantastic Doctor! He got to the root of my immune issues and is treating me with infusion therapy. I've had far few infections and haven't needed antibiotics.

Dr Melamed is compassionate AND brilliant. He is the only doctor I have ever felt complete and deep trust in. You can sense that you are in the presence of a genius. He is a blessing to humankind. He saved my life.

Dr. Melamed thinks outside the box and looks outside the normal perimeters! I call him Dr. Sherlock! If you are tired of doctors running basic tests and not finding the root cause for your fatigue, pain or illness, Dr. Sherlock is your man! Just a note, he is very kind and caring, but don't expect a ling hand holding session. Let his brain run with the clues and make a plan!
