List of Childrens Hospital Colorado Colorado Springs's Reviews
The staff at Children’s Hospital never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for taking such great care of our child’s emergency!
I had my baby in July and she was sent to the children’s NICU the day after she was born. She had low blood sugar. Upon arrival I tried to take a picture of my baby because they put an IV in her head that I wanted to show my husband who was waiting in the waiting area. The nurse Jen was extremely rude and literally yelled at me saying that photos were not allowed with staff. I did not know that since I was barely in the room for 5 minutes. She then started asking if I had gestational diabetes and asked questions to make me feel like it was all my fault and that the reason my baby was in NiCu was all because of me. She made me feel like a horrible mother. Did not allow me to hold my daughter. Did not explain anything to me about what was going on. She laughed when I asked if the baby would be out within a couple days. She ended up staying 17 days. Another nurse named Jess was very belittling and told my husband “you need to re wash your hands and do it for real” she made comments to us like “I’m sure you know how to change a diaper don’t you” (we have two other children, we obviously know how) and made us feel extremely upset in an already scary and difficult time for my family and I. The only reason I gave two extra stars is because we did have a few really amazing nurses, one being nurse Jill. I loved the facility, most of the staff, the resources they provided like the Ronald McDonald house for my other kids, etc. some nurses though could really use a training on how to be a little more empathetic to families who have never had to experience their baby being in the nicu and how to treat a mother after just given birth.
The receptionist at the allergy and asthma clinic. Shouldn’t even be in that job. She’s rude, not helpful, very short and curt .It was as if she had better things to do than try and set an appointment for our 6yr. Old. She’s definitely not there to try and help anyone’s child. She will do everything she can to deny your appointment. Maybe your hospital should hire people with some compassion. Oh, this was our second time trying to get this appointment. Do not take your child here
The GI staff is 💯 best in class!!! Dr Septor, Dr Myers & Jennifer are our favorites. Literally the most caring, loving & knowledgeable team we've experienced. We feel so supported, a true extention of our family. Thank you!!! Keep them, forever.
The staff was very friendly and punctual. Always have a great experience when we come for a check up
Staff is so caring and attentive. My son had surgery and I felt totally cared for and prepared
I called the Allergy Clinic at Childrens Hospital today to schedule an appointment for my grandsons asthma … the scheduler was VERY rude and unprofessional. We have guardianship of our grandson which I immediately when asked sent the emails of those documents while on the phone w the lady who didn’t even mention her name . I asked to schedule the appointment she said that they had to review the validity of the documentation… very rudely implying i would send her fake documents and that the appointments “were so far out it wouldn’t make a difference “ …. this is my grandsons health she was referring too …. like it didn’t matter the nature of his appointment or his medical condition . If she is representing the healthcare that is provided … maybe I need to find another hospital.
Victor the Nurse supervisor, Theresa, and the rest of the staff that I dealt with on the evening of 10/2 do not care about children.
Staff were friendly and intentional and the wait time was minimal. We felt listened to by Dr Samples and we were done within 30 minutes.
Loved it my child went there for an overnight visit due to a salivary gland infection and they took good care of my child.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
