I can't say enough great things about Colorado Psych Clinic! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient, making every visit a smooth and pleasant experience. Jacob Wilson, PMHNP-BC is truly exceptional—knowledgeable, compassionate, and always takes the time to listen to my concerns. He provides thorough explanations and personalized care, ensuring I feel comfortable and well-informed about my health. The office is clean, well-organized, and runs efficiently with minimal wait times. I highly recommend Colorado Psych Clinic to anyone looking for top-notch mental health care.
Pretty good experience until I had to reschedule several appointments due to me traveling or other reasons ( I have a pretty busy life) Well last week I get a email saying I’m being dropped due to excessive no shows which is not true I have all the texts as well from when I rescheduled and the office receptionist responded how it’s not a problem but it clearly was. Word of advice to all of you have a busy life and try to move schedules for mental health appointments around it’s clear this company only cares about money and not the care of the patient. Pretty sad how I put so much trust into a company that will drop you when life gets in the way. Do better.
I’ve been seeing Autumn Knox for some time now, and I can confidently say that she has made a tremendous positive impact on my mental health. As someone who struggles with anxiety, finding a compassionate, knowledgeable, and approachable provider was a priority, and Autumn has exceeded all my expectations. From the very first session, Autumn created a safe, non-judgmental environment where I felt heard and understood. She takes the time to listen to my concerns, provides thoughtful feedback, and collaborates with me on treatment options that fit my needs. What stands out most is her genuine care for her patients—she goes beyond simply prescribing medication, offering strategies and coping mechanisms that have truly helped me manage anxiety in my daily life. Autumn is professional, empathetic, and deeply knowledgeable. Whether you're new to therapy or seeking a new provider, I highly recommend her services. If you're struggling with mental health challenges, Autumn is someone you can trust to guide you toward healing and personal growth.
I truly don't believe, even for a minute, that Nurse Practitioner Sylvia Knapp is certified for her position, let alone having access to people looking for a real human being for mental health assistance. Where do you get these people anyway?
I should have read other reviews before coming here. I was prescribed a medication for ADHD with a 2 week recheck to see if the medication was working. Well they originally sent my medication to the wrong pharmacy fine mistakes happen. The first day of taking the medication I had concerning side effects throbbing headache, extreme fatigue, fever. I immediately left a message for my nurse practitioner and have yet to hear back. It’s been a week now. I have learned to be picky about who I trust my mental health with.
I don’t have a problem with my prescriber at all, but I really have had a poor experience with this business otherwise. You can’t ever get these people on the phone. You have to leave a message. I’m so sick of crap like that. This presents a huge problem for me because I’ve only been able to pay a bill once. I probably owe them for 4 other co-pays for past appointments over several months and they have not given me any other bills. If they keep this up or expect me to just pay it all at once at some point I am definitely taking my business elsewhere which is disappointing because I like Brian.
Provider Jessie Kuhn - Has very little knowledge of certain medications. 1 - Wellbutrin - she is under the impression that it should not be used people with a PAST HISTORY (not active) of eating disorders and refused to prescribe. She suggested I research this to prove her wrong, which I did. Wellbutrin is perfectly safe for people who are not actively bulimic. Eventually he agreed to prescribe. 2 - Cymbalta & Wellbutrin together - she is under the impression that these 2 medications can not be prescribed together. She refused to prescribe. Again, I did the research and found that they are commonly prescribed together and are very safe. 3 - During these prescription conversations she became quite emotional/confrontational. I'm 59 yrs. old and know to move on to another provider. I worry for anyone younger or less experienced in dealing with mental health issues who would not have the wherewithal to do so. This woman seriously needs some counseling of her own and lot more eduction before she should be allowed to work with patients. Susan Mc
Disappointed to say the LEAST. Recently moved here looking for care and was treated poorly by Brian Watkins. Not only was I invalidated, condescended to but was severely medically gaslit. The symptoms I came to discuss were ignored. If you have ADHD or any other neurodivergent struggles, he does not possess the adequate amount of education/understanding when it comes to these issues. He questioned me at every turn when it came to my bloodwork, my history, I left crying and frustrated, more hopeless than I did entering. It's infuriating when you are already struggling with mental health issues to then be treated like an unintelligent child, like I haven't spent my whole life educating myself. I have spent over 20 years working in the medical/mental health field in many different positions and as a patient advocate, I cannot within integrity leave without saying something. Within 1 short visit of finding a new, intelligent, caring, compassionate Psychiatrist through a different clinic here in the Springs, I found a deep sense of clarity, hope, validation and someone that actually understands that depression and anxiety are actually symptoms of struggling with adhd and when completely invalidated, you can feel like you don't want to be here. I DO NOT recommend working Brian if you want someone to really listen and find workable solutions. During my last session with him, I mentioned that I may try to find a therapist that understands ADHD/Autism a little better, he said "it doesn't really matter if they understand those things, as long as they understand depression/anxiety, they can help you" This is harmful and just shows how little neurodivergence is understood by "professionals". The nervous system is complex and should NEVER be reduced or simplified to depression/anxiety. Only those of you who struggle, know. I Highly recommend a thorough psychological exam with a physician as mine with Brians was very short and incomplete. Please know that your mental health is worth fighting for, and that happiness and hope are possible with the right help.
Incredibly kind, well educated, and patient with me. I love them and recommend them highly
I have been seeing Brian Watkins since relocating to Colorado. He has been the most attentive mental health professional that I have ever worked with. I feel very heard, and it is notable that he looks deeply at things and will take more time if needed versus rushing to a diagnosis. He is very thoughtful and caring, and I was really impressed by his ability to understand my words when I myself was not exactly able to do so!! I cannot recommend Mr. Watkins enough, working with him has been life changing for me! It is also worth noting that he is very friendly and easy to talk to, which I think is critical in a patient/provider dynamic.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
