I thought this place was supposed to help people. All the counselor did was shame me.
I've been in crisis twice this year. Both times, I could not ask for better help. Lauren saw the real me and what I truly needed. She didn't waste time working on getting me to the resources to put me on the road to recovery. Because, I didn't follow through with her same enthusiasm, I got to meet Adam. I'd like to thank God for him too. He also saw ME, knew exactly what I really needed to hear. These people are literally out here saving lives. Every person in the building I met showed me compassion, understanding and helped me plan a better future for myself. I wouldn't be here without their help. Thank you for being a true Light House.
When we walked in the front desk was friendly, the atmosphere was calm. Our wait time to be seen was not long at all, we went to the back and spoke to a counselor, she was kind, easy to understand. We were advised of resources and she encouraged to make safety plan for my granddaughter.. over all it was a good experience.
Imagine your whole world crashing in on you. You take a gulp suck it up and make an appointment to improve your mental. I did this in hopes of being helped. I had an appointment roughly two weeks ago. Scheduled an appointment on today. They called early morning to verify my appointment. Just to call 2 hours before my appointment to cancel. If I'm not mistaken, we get charged canceling last minute. How unprofessional (Amanda). They offer me an appointment for the 31st, let's do the math again. Now im waiting over a month for an appointment that was an emergency anyways. 🙃 the words I wanna say will make me look so unprofessional I will not give that to you. But thank you for now leaving me in a worse situation Amanda. FO NOT RECOMMEND, especially AMANDA!
I am leaving one star in this review If I could leave zero in warn people to be extremely careful. My sister was found dead in her home at 10:00 p.m. I contacted diverse's health Tuesday morning amongst the million phone calls that had to be made I was put through phone system I was in hysterics and then put through to an operator then put on hold and finally spoke to someone and she said she would get a hold of me as soon as possible that was on Tuesday they contacted me on Thursday and said they had a message out to the doctor and they were waiting for a contact it is now Monday at 10:00 in the morning a week later and they called to schedule an appointment for me in 2 weeks with no help. Unless you want it use gabapentin that does nothing causes more damage than good I do not drink I do not take drugs but you're treated like you do because you're low income So if you need help I'm begging you find it someplace else not here
For the first time in my life I felt like I could be honest about my addiction struggles. Dr. Martinez listened and we decided on a plan together.
I needed medication management that I could afford since my health insurance through work is so bad. I have a complex financial situation, and was told that the first appointment would not be more than $100. I was charged $181. On top of that, when I asked if I could delay my appointment by a month because my previous doctor sent over prescriptions for me, they said that would be fine. Well when I went to make that appointment, they told me I would need to have ANOTHER 3 hour long (during work hours!) $181 intake appointment because it's their "policy" that there needs to be a new intake appointment if the first appointment is 30 days after the intake. Wouldn't it have been nice if they told me this when they allowed me to push my first appointment back by a month? Now they're harassing me for $181 that I got nothing out of, I'm taking less of the medication that I need to function (that If i stop taking I get suicidal) and I'm desperately looking for someone to prescribe me more for an amount I can afford. Thank's, Diversus Health!
I don't suggest anyone goes here. Over the last 10 years of being a patient at diversis and feeling like this crisis center is my only option, I have never had a positive exsperience here. My last exsperience solidifying why i should not go. I still have nightmares about my last exsperience. Being stuck in a room with a man that after like 2 lines about me sharing what's going on, he went into a like 30 minute biggoted rant, relating everything I'm going through to me being trans. Even tho nothing was due to me being trans. I was unable to talk much in my own defense because he kept writing me off as crazy and borderline. I felt so trapped and defenseless to the nasty things he was saying about me. That I'm broken and attention seeking. That my parents have a right to hate me for being me. That I deserve to be hated at work because I'm "weird and out there". I feel shivers of anxiety everytime I think of him months later. I couldn't sleep or eat well for weeks after going here. I face a lot of bigotry in my life. I was not ready to face something like that in such a captive area. I hate it most because I saw the "inclusive 'you're safe here'" lgbt poster before going in. That image haunts me knowing I had been mistreated because I'm trans. 0/10 please do not go here.
I recently moved back to the Springs and needed to continue my medication. Waited 2 weeks for the appointment which I can understand with scheduling. In order to receive the medication, I had to take a drug screen. I was set up for the required drug screen almost a week after the appointment. I was told the provider was in the office and I would have my meds that day. Later the same day I received a call stating the provider would be out of the office and it would be another week before I could get my medication or I could meet with another provider later in the week. I should not have to see a different provider in order to get a needed mental health medication when I've already completed the steps. The only reason I can think of that they want me to see another provider is to get more money, which is fraud. It may change but at this time, I would not recommend Diversis health to anyone.
Everyone I interacted with was very kind and understanding. The facility has a calm vibe. Shout out to Fred, thanks for laughs!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
