As a nurse who has worked in healthcare, suffered for years with severe UC, been to many other doctors, and ran through the clinical ladder of medication regiments, Dr. Prashant Krishnan was the only doctor who's plan of care successfully put my UC in remission....Symptom free within 4 days of initiating my medication regiment. Furthermore, he was personable, thorough, and actively listened to my concerns. Highly recommend.

This was not a good experience at all. I was never told by anyone from the time the procedure was scheduled up to the day we went that a support person would not be allowed in the pre op area and what made that even more of a slap in the face was the nurse anesthesiologist daughter was allowed in to stay with her friend in the pre op area because, as I was told “she is the daughter of a staff member.” Before procedure I explained to the person who put my IV in that it hurt when fluids were running and she stated it was fine. The entire first dose of anesthesia meds went everywhere but my vein so they restarted the IV (total of 4 sticks from start to finish) and gave me a 2nd dose. Upon returning to recovery I was literally woken up to be told it’s time to go home. I was not allowed anyone to help me change and I had to sit to change but was so out of it I put some clothes on inside out and then my husband basically had to hold me up walking to the car. Never offered a wheelchair but doubt they had them. I continued to fell very sedate and clumsy for about 24 hours. Was never given any instruction in regards to the anesthesia meds in my arm tissue. My guess it those meds take much longer to absorb and leave the body causing my issues with confusion and coordination for 24 hours. I most certainly will not have other scopes thru this facility. The only reason I gave any positive stars is because the procedure itself was painless and most staff were friendly. The entire facility though needs a major overhaul in regards to following their own policies and also beef up on patient education!
