Although I respect and trust Dr. Barad, I’m disappointed in the office. None of his assistants introduced themselves to me, nor did they seem very personable - more like robots. As I was making my year follow up appt. the lady making the appt. handed me the card and informed me I’d be seeing a different doctor. I was told then that Dr. Barad was retiring. Nothing was said to me during my appt. I believe Dr. Barad has been my eye doctor since his arrival when my previous eye doctor retired just as abruptly. The entire office is professional and efficient but certainly not personal - I feel they are a good practice but do not exude warmth and honest caring. I have been a patient for 42 years and yet I am still just a number and not a person in this practice. Something I have tolerated as I believed in the skill of my doctor. Maybe I’ll shop around a bit before my next appt.

Dr. Barad is always professional and very pleasant. He has cared for me & my eye health needs for many years. He always explains the results of any tests that are done and answers any questions i have. I was very sad to learn that he is retiring at the end of June, 2023. It is a well-deserved reward for a career of caring for people’s eye health, but he will be sincerely missed!

Everyone at Dr. Barad's office was helpful, professional and personable. The doctor listened to why I was there and addressed those concerns based on the results of his examination. I went to see him based on a personal recommendation, and I would recommend him to others as well.
