Needed retina detachment surgery and was freaky scared!! Dr Luu was WONDERFUL. He explained everything in detail and gave me comfort. He is kind, patient, and the surgery was completely successful, no problems at all. Very qualified and highly recommended!! Can't say enough good things.

I had a detached retina. Dr. Luu performed the surgery. I had to wear a prescription before, now the eye is 20-20. No floaters. I am very happy and would request him if anything else should happen.

I first became a patient of Dr. Luu in 2017 when I experienced a detached retina in my right eye. He conducted emergency surgery immediately. The surgery went extremely well and his post-op care was very thorough. The sight in my eye was saved. In October 2021 I experienced a macular hole in my left eye. Dr. Luu conducted the surgery, which also went extremely well and he provided the same terrific after care that I experienced with my right eye. The sight in this eye was also saved. Today I have very good vision in both eyes and am able to live my life normally with my sight. If not for Dr. Luu I most likely would have limited sight, if not blindness, in both eyes. I am grateful every day of my life for Dr. Luu. The support staff at Retina Consultants are also very terrific. Thank you all so much!

My husband had emergency surgery for a partially detached retina. Dr Luu met with us right away and explained the surgery in depth and answered all our questions.. The surgery was a success and my husband now has 20/20 vision n that eye. Dr Luu and his office staff were all very helpful and supportive. I would highly recommend D. Luu to family and friends.
