Great tour, guide was extremely friendly and professional. Helpful in leading us to a friend who was staying there.
Tour answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Very professional.
Felt welcome from the first. Super staff support and continuing assistance.
So I'm writing this post cause of the unresponsive and incompetent people this company is hiring to drive their bus. North Academy between Woodman and Briargate blvd, your driver failed to maintain lane several times as well as speed and almost ran me off the road. I attempted to reach out by phone and do this cordially but your lack of response is so baffling (even after the voicemail) Don't contact me, I do not care to speak to you as well as the next time your bus tries to run me off the road by veering into my lane, you better believe I'm gonna lean as hard as I can into that accident.
Wonderful tour of a 2 bdrm patio home which is what I was interested in. Also had lunch which was OK more like I might make at home. It was a balanced meal with not too much food. Personnel interaction was excellent.
Horrible, and that is being generous. My Dad is in skilled nursing and Mom is in assisted living. She has mobility issues and it is hard for her to go see him some days so she calls but nursing staff is to busy doing nothing to deliver a message or return a call. Almost every time a go to see my Dad he has about slid out of his wheelchair and once even fell out of bed!!! The management and staff of this facility is pathetic.
sending spam to peoples mail boxes is not cool. and its worse than getting email spam, as email spam does not waste trees and create waste. theres a place for people like this... and its supposed to be very very hot there.
It is with regret that I must write this ONE STAR review. My mom (90yrs) has been at Liberty Heights Independent Living for 4.5 years. We have been happy with her care and experience until now. As a preface, my mom loves living here and the staff would earn a 5 Star Review, if it was just about them. However the lack of stars is relating to the UNBELIEVABLE rate hike for this coming year! $500 extra per month ($6,000 for the year) for no foreseeable reasons except a total remodel of the facility which the residents seem to be footing the bill for. The explanation letter from the Executive Director states high inflation rates, wages etc.,etc. for the increase. If costs for those expenses have gone up so much, why is the property being completely renovated at this time?! As a side note, it has been upsetting to my mom and her fellow residents to have their door/ entrance decorations removed. It was one easy way they could find their way through the hallways. Now there is a sterile, hotel-like atmosphere which gives a very impersonal vibe. My main issue with the increase though is the quality of the food and dining experience. This has been an issue since my mom moved in; I have written many reviews, filled out surveys and even called the corporate office over the years. We used to eat with my mom at least every other week, and now, we refuse to eat with her after our last experience of raw chicken in our dish! We would rather take my mom out to a restaurant than eat with her there! If there is such a ridiculous increase in the monthly rate, why not improve the dining experience? On top of the $500 per month, I am now taking my mom grocery shopping so she can have something she can eat BEFORE she goes to the dining room; adding an additional expense to her fixed income budget. She has told me she eats at home before she goes to dinner and usually orders a hot dog because “it is the only thing that is good”. REALLY?!?! I actually believe her from our past experiences. To her the dining room is more of a social gathering than eating now. I realize there will be rate increases and we have not had any problem before this one, even during Covid. However, I feel this almost borders on elder-abuse by raising the rates so much! Social Security only went up by 3.2%…and Liberty Heights has increased by 9.2%!!! OUTRAGEOUS! We cannot move my mom at her age as that would cause undo stress and lead to her demise. So we are stuck! This is shameful! Does the corporate office think that their residents won’t live long enough to notice the rates go up so much?? Enough of the renovations! Fix the dining experience/food so the residents can enjoy something besides new carpet and paint!
Horrible experience
My grandma in law is in this facility right now and spent 15 minutes on the floor after a fall waiting for help! Most times the call button is pressed it takes 20 minutes for someone to come see her. While visiting the other day she asked for help getting into bed and the nurse on the floor said it’s a 15-20 minute wait and stood there watching TV with the lift! Horrible care and horrible staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
