List of Memorial North/Uchealth's Reviews
My emergency room visit was ... Actually insulting. The most annoying parts were the backhanded comments on dismissing the idea that I didn't drink as much as they thought. They refused to help me look into why I was highly intoxicated on just one drink. So I now have a deep and overwhelming dislike for at least this hospital. They are biased and cannot see beyond their own filters for what is really wrong. Therefore they are ... Well they are dead to me. I still use UChealth in other capacities but this has been overwhelmingly disappointing. So... yeah. My drop in the bucket.
Everyone was super nice and helpful. A friend of mine was here for a few days and I almost wished I could trade places with her.
I called 911 one evening believing that they would help me out, turns out they will deliver you to whichever hospital you want, and if you choose this one, be sure you know that they don't appreciate whistleblowers and folks who would otherwise make a scene about the true nature of the hospital. Myself? I was hauled in after a mental break down where a nurse on a power trip had me sedated before shipping me off to a mental hospital in Denver for two weeks after wetting myself when they refused to allow me access to a restroom, after restraining me to the bed of course. But hey, I must've been out of my mind and not completely coherent when that happened because why would I go through the trouble of posting a review that NO ONE will ever read? Oh drat! :)
Too many people in Colorado Springs and not enough doctors. The infrastructurewas not designed for all the people we have now.
We came in because of concerns with our pregnancy, We had doctors and nurses dismiss Our questions criticized us and felt very unwelcome. We will not be going back.
I wish I could give zero stars. Dr.Conard and Dr.Stander are absolutely terrible! I wouldn't come back to this hospital if I was dying. I will definitely be contacting a patient representative. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone.
Question: How many negative reviews, deaths, suffering, etc. does it take for greedy medical staff and hospital owners to take things seriously or at least pretend to care to save face? Answer: Apparently none, considering all the negative reviews I’m seeing recently and the experience dad had last night. You’ll never forget the ones who killed your loved one for the rest of your life.
Start recording the messed up stuff they say and do to you. They sent a SEPSIS patient home without treatment because it wouldn’t be “financially in their interest.” But they’ll treat the coughs and sniffles that come through. They probably want to wait until the sepsis spreads, so they can finally make their blood money.
I have extremely bias opinions when it comes to mental health care but overall my experience at North was great on March 25 and 26th of 2023. I had been to Memorial Center about 3 months prior due to a similar complaint and was treated like absolute garbage. Granted this time I was not the most cooperative patient as I was extremely traumatised and I felt like no one was listening to me. But one nurse did listen and offered me a deal which is all I had asked for. I just wanted to feel comfortable and she listened. But I would say that if your nursing notes are visible on the patient portal, you shouldn’t be calling a patient manipulative based off their profession just because they know the steps that are going to occur. I understand a lot of things that were happening were due to hospital policy but the staff refused to believe me when I repeatedly stated the same thing which was disheartening. It took my friend coming to the hospital to be with me and talk to the staff for them to finally believe me. I know that patients can be manipulative, as a healthcare provider I see that almost everyday. But you should be able to talk and understand your patients which my initial nurse didn’t even attempt to. But by the morning I was given a different nurse and he went about doing things so differently and treated me like an actual person not just another body. I know I wasn’t the easiest patient in any capacity but I appreciate the effort to stay kind without getting mad. When you approach people with compassion they are more likely to respond well. I would also like to shout out one of the security guards who I don’t remember her name but the amount of effort she went through to advocate for me and make me feel comfortable was beyond my wildest expectations. I am super thankful for her and will remember her super fondly. She’s one of the many reasons I’m trying to stay committed to recovery. I would like to also shout out my nurse Noel A. who treated me with so much compassion and care even when I was not being the most cooperative patient. Going to the hospital can be extremely traumatising but the few staff that listened to my complaints and worries made this experience more positive than negative. All it takes is 2 minutes to try and understand your patients.
I had my breast reduction surgery at UC Health Memorial North and it was the absolute best surgery experience I have ever had in any hospital prior. The staff were responsive and listened to me, Everything from the moment I checked in to being wheeled down to the car post op was 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ treatment! If you need a surgery I highly recommend this hospital !

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
