I have been with Dr. Harris for 10 years. She is so good at what she does that I have followed her throughout her practice in the Springs. She is caring, compassionate and is one of the best physicians I have ever worked with -- and that would be many as I am a retired health care executive. As a patient, I could not ask for better care.

I could not disagree more with the review below concerning statin prescriptions. As a former Healthcare Administrator and executive, I research every physician from whom I receive care. IAs a patient, I can unequivocally state that Dr. Harris is absolutely outstanding in every respect. From the beginning of my heart issues with a DX of cardiomyopathy, she has ensured that I run through every test from stress to nuclear echo in the diagnosis and pursuit of quality care and healing. I have been with her for over 10 years and would not change cardiologists for any reason. I most highly recommend Dr. Harris and deeply appreciate her caring efforts.

If you are looking for a Cardiologist willing to quickly prescribe a statin, you have found the right doctor. After a relatively brief follow-up consultation Dr. Harris predictably came to the conclusion a family member should be on a statin , almost solely relying on her ldl numbers. Not surprising due to the impressive results statins have on lowering ldl. Unfortunately, emerging science is revealing that relying on these single numbers alone may not be a reliable predictor of cardiac risk. She didn't order a VAP test, she didn't discuss a Calcium scan test . The quickness to prescribe a drug and her lack of investigative inquisitiveness left us extremely disappointed. I'm sad to say, but I feel she epitomizes all that is wrong with a segment of the medical profession currently; a seemingly unfettered willingness to prescribe pharmaceuticals, and an obvious disinterest in investigating the underlying cause of disease. Be your own advocate and do your research!
