Run - Lack of professionalism and the staff follows.
Dr. Wilkenson is brilliant. She is also caring and calming. I am so thankful to find her.
1. Dr. Wilkenson misdiagnosed completely! Caused hospitalization! Not discerning nor skilled in diagnosing. 2. Not current with knowledge of side-effects of meds; does not warn of possible reactions. Particularly, she does not even communicate what to look out for regarding side-effects that can potentially lead to death 3. Lazy. Does not keep up with knowledge of patient records & history. Forgetful of basic stuff. 4. Non-conformist. Does not believe in, nor support, widely accepted & proven successful psychiatric medicines! 5. Thinks she is right & most psychiatrists are wrong in their prescribing proven, tested, traditional meds. She goes along with it but is against it. 6. To best of my knowledge, Dr. Wilkenson has no association with any psychiatric facility in terms of being able to treat one of her patients while in the hospital.
If you are a patient at Aspen Pointe, I can't recommend asking for Dr. Wilkenson enough. She is thorough with gathering information, explaining what options are available, and making sound recommendations. More importantly, in my opinion, she's kind. She actually cares about her patients, and strives to get you the best possible care. Honestly, I feel like I hit the doctor lottery here, in being able to have her as my psychiatrist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
