Andrew Gross's Online Review Report Card

I was under Dr. Gross’s care for more than 10 years or so. All that time my diagnosis was Ankylosing Spondylitis. Then one day he just decided to toss out the work & conclusions of UCSF Doctors who had treated me before since 1971 when my muscles and bones became intolerably stiff and I suffered from severe chronic pain in my upper spine. These physicians were more prestigious and experienced than Dr. Gross. What explanation did he give for his bizarre behavior? He felt that the “correct” diagnosis was Fibromyalgia and that my condition failed to check off every box indicating the former diagnosis A.S., which had been affirmed time and again by superior UC experts in the field including at least two Faculty members I protested his actions charging him with an incomplete and oddly incompetent method of discrediting 30 years of proven UC doctor by examining only approximately 10% (by his admission) of my total records. Treated fro PsA and fibromyalgia

The only thing that made having to visit the hospital worse was this horrible person and how I was treated by him. What an embarrassment to the medical profession.

I went to the ER with severe right lower back pain. Mr Gross checked my spine for tenderness and then my lower right side and said immediately that it was an inflamed muscle. Also told me about our OPIATE epidemic because I take Percocet and have been for a couple years because of 3 separate forms of arthritis. I left and went to my PCP, I have Puyria! It is more serious than he even cared about. This was done by a urine test that WAS NOT DONE at the hospital. Save yourself, go to Kearney County Hospital in Lakin!

Worst Dr. ever! Instead of treating my young daughter appropriately he just made suggestive comments about her breasts and legs...she is 15!! Sick pervert child creeper!!!

Unbelievably rude and inconsiderate to my health concerns. This doctor shoved me aside as if I wasn't worthy of treatment for my ongoing pain. He actually rolled his eyes at me and left the room. Worst Doctor I have ever seen!

The rudest, most unprofessional practitioner, with no compassion at all. Being sick is hard enough, but to argue with a patient, and deem them incompetent is inexcusable, considering the circumstances. Making a patient leave feeling like they are dirt beneath his shoe is disgusting behavior, considering his profession.

Completely unprofessional, rude and cursed at us during our visit. He did not treat our illness properly and therefore I went to another hospital in Delta. Much better experience there!

Best doctor anyone in my family has ever had! So thorough, and great bedside manner! He fought for my husband to stay when he needed to despite not having insurance. He also found a heart murmur in my son that nobody else had ever told me about. (and we were there for a hurt knee!) If he had a family practice, my whole family would be seeing him! He doesn't make you feel stupid like a lot of docs tend to do. He actually listens to your concerns. Between having 3 kids, (one with JRA) and a husband with multiple surgeries under his belt, we have seen a lot of docs. He is seriously the best!
