Kevin Pulsipher's Online Review Report Card

This guy thinks he knows all and is very cocky! In five minutes with no past medical records yet (I had just requested them) this guy thinks he knows my medical problems are all caused by anxiety. Well, after 50 doctor appointments, testing, surgery and Hospital visits, I have a long standing medical list. Also, he thinks that Buspirone does not cause Seratonin syndrome and my medication sensitivities are not what I was told by other physicians. I know for a fact that this medication does cause Seratonin syndrome (per my current mental health provider) and he is discrediting all the doctors of my past. He was so cocky to say that my medical diagnosis to everything I have been tested for and had surgeries for are not correct diagnosis. He had the balls to say my doctors misdiagnosed me even after extensive testing. All this guy wanted to do dose me up on anti anxiety meds that I have ended up in the ER from. Also the ER doctor recently stated my problem is not anxiety and it is vasavagal responses to untreated pain. He said she was wrong. The guy is cocky and thinks he is a know it all. Unfortunately for him, he is wrong and should not be treating any patients at all. Be aware this guy is dangerous. He thinks he is a good doctor when he is only a complete jerk who has no clue to what really is medically going on. If you have anxiety, do not go to him because he will say that is all that is wrong with you without any medical documentation of past medical issues. The guy should not be practicing medicine per my mental health professionals. I cannot even make this up. This guy was the worst so called doctor I have ever visited in my life!

Dr. Pulsipher is an outstanding and highly qualified doctor. He has a great bedside manner and really listens to his patients. He has a wonderful sense of humor and really cares about you as an individual. He encourages you and shows true concern for your wellbeing. He is not a drug pusher either. He is an advocate for more natural and healthy alternatives.

Dr. Pulsipher and Surface Creek Family Practice is the most inferior doctors office on the Western Slope of Colorado. It is not a "Christian" office as they proclaim, it is Mormon. The health care they offer is based on the tenets of the Mormon Religion. Because of this tenet and because they believe in miracles, "Mormons often ask to receive a priesthood blessing. This means that two or more priesthood holders from the church say a special prayer to ask Heavenly Father to bless the person. This is by no means a substitute for professional medical care, but instead a way to show God our earnestness in receiving the blessings we desire–which also require us to do everything we can to heal ourselves–such as accepting medical care from professionals". Don't take a chance with your health.

Just had a flight physical with Dr. Pulsipher and had a wonderful experience. Kind and professional staff, top notch equipment and facility but above all, what stood out for me was that Dr Pulsipher spoke to me and not down to me, that he has a great sense of humour and he listened. Definitely my new flight physical doctor and friend!!

I have been seeing Dr. Pulsipher for almost 4 years now for a back injury. I recently recieved a new prescription from him for a stomach condition waited a week and a half to try to get it filled him knowing the situation I then called to see what was going on and was informed he had released me from the practice!!! No prior discussion with him personally and after my last visit everything was fine! He did not disscuss releasing me for any reason in person! I have also not recieved a letter from the Dr as to why! Patient abandonment!!! I now am without a medication needed! I don't recommend this physician! Find another physician if possible! He is not worth the time!

Horrible dr

Dr. Pulsipher is the best doctor ever. He cares about his patients and he not only listens intently but he also can read your body language. He treats the elderly with the dignity they deserve. He also helps the family to understand a members condition and helps the family to deal with issues at hand. Dr. Pulsipher has always had a smile and a welcoming tone when ever I have had to take my parents in or go in with my older sister. I wish all doctors had the drive an caring heart that he has.

I requested an appt. for a yearly physical exam. The scheduler entered medication review and after waiting for months for the big day, Dr. Pulsipher had 10 minutes to give me a complete P.E . Instead of speaking with the scheduler and having my P.E. scheduled for a more appropriate time slot, he said he could do an exam went ahead with a rushed exam. I feel I must review the billing on this matter and have my insurance company reimbursed. The patient, myself in this case is to blame for not being assertive and simply demand an appropriate amount of the time. However, I was so upset I could not do that. Instead I self diagnosed and order tests at a local health fair. Self diagnosing is dangerous and was just as stupid as the doctor not training and speaking to his staff about adequate scheduling. Another time I clearly and accurately described some symptoms and where exactly severe pain was located. The scheduler entered symptoms entirely different and when I questioned the nurse why she was doing unnecessary testing, I discovered that again Dr. Pulsipher's staff was untrained. When a doctor with better judgement moved into the general area, I was able to transfer. After going to the health fair apparently his office was notified of abnormal results. Instead of contacting me to make an appointment the office called to ask me to come in for "shots" but there was no explanation as to why. I had requested a C-Reactive Protein test which came back with results off the top of the normal range. Wish he had taken the time for an appropriate physical and worked with his staff instead of giving me a 10 minute physical. I have always had fine physicians and they were always on top of their professions. This doctor is a D.O.

I went for a work comp claim. He treated me aggressively to stop the pain. He was nice and did a good job on the exam however after a couple of appointments and two shots he gave me paperwork and said to come back a needed. I left w my papers. The papers he turned into the insurance released me yet my paperwork did NOT state that!!! He has totally screwed my work comp case and deceived me by writing something on one paper and diffenent on another. Now I haven't had treatment for a year and I have to pay $700 for an independent medical review to prove dr Pulsipher releases me too soon... Without a diagnosis. Don't go for work comp. I think he just wants to please the insurance people by closing cases by giving shots to subdue pain with shots that wear off.

First visit to the practice. Saw NP and out of 3 prescriptions, one was faxed as wrong dosage, one was right and one wasn't even called in! On talking to the "nurse" she got very short with me. Have been going "round and round" with the office to get the orders right. Spoke with the pharmacy yesterday and was told that they just kept faxing the same order over and over and the pharmacy had four duplicate orders! Was told that the office finally called in the order and pharmacy said they thought every thing was straightened out. Looking for another doctor.
