List of MIchelle Purvis's Reviews
Dr. Purvis is a physician in the true sense of the word, not only an M.D. When we as patients have a major health issue, she works with us to achieve a healthy outcome rather than being rigid in her practice of medicine. We feel grateful to have found her in our move from city to rural area.
Wonderful Doctor, terrible staff. The person who answers the phone "once she feels like answering" is rude. Her name is Viky and she does not send the billing correctly to your insurance either. So, if you are lucky and she answers the phone you might get an appointment. You also want to double-check that Viky sends the bill correctly to your insurance. The Doctor is very knowledgeable and she goes to the point. They are under staff. Expect delays
Very thorough an caring. Diagnositic skills are excellent Sometimes a long wait.
Dr Purvis painstakingly froze at least a dozen actinic keratoses - precancerous skin lesions - off my face, neck and shoulders. She was very patient and personable. She took her time and was very thorough. I was aware of some of the lesions, which is why I went to see her. But she called several more to my attention that I hadn't noticed.
Dr Purvis has fantastic bedside manner and takes the time to listen to the patient
Horrible communication and scheduling. Over booked and not enough people to get assistance. Nice doctor, poor planning and staff. You will sit for a hour+ and listen to the phone ring and ring. Noon comes around and staff start to leave for lunch. I understand we all need lunch/breaks, but wow as a courtesy they should let everyone in the waiting room know it will be a little while and see if anyone wants to reschedule on a better day for them. Lesson learned, do your research.
Today was the first time I saw Dr. Purvis as a new patient. I had been seeing a nurse practitioner in years prior, but my health concerns have changed significantly, and I felt seeing a physician would be a better option for me. Dr. Purvis spent a considerable amount of time with me discussing my health concerns. She ended up taking a 3-vial blood draw to cover a number of tests for me to determine all the factors leading to my issues. The great thing is, the labs were done on-site so I didn’t have to go anywhere else—all done in the office the same day. Dr. Purvis listened to my concerns and did the most comprehensive exam I’ve ever had—literally. She genuinely cared about me as a patient. To top it all off the entire staff was courteous, prompt, and experienced. I feel I made a great decision choosing Dr. Purvis as my physician.
Excellent doctor. She checks out everything and will refer you to a specialist if she feels that you need to see one. Great bedside manner, Very nice person. I trust her completely.
Where do I begin? I went to see Dr Purvis because I felt OFF and all the research I did online pointed to a hormone imbalance. She pretty much told me I was a hypochondriac and said my blood results were normal, a week later I went to a different doctor and found out I have extremely low progesterone levels. Dr purvis does not listen to her patients concerns. Terrible terrible doctor, don’t go to her!
This woman gives doctors a bad name. She doesn't listen.. She doesn't do the writing on the charts her staff does. Nine times out of 10 they write the wrong information. . It had taken me ten days to get a antibiotic. Truly to summon it all up.. she missed her calling. The circus isn't to far for her performance. That's how I feel after seeing her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
