Alder Grove Wellness Group Llc's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Holly Vause for 10+ years for good reason. When I arrived in her office, I was a mess. Heavily sedated from a prior prescription, scared of being allergic to medication, and overall not very trusting. I was also excessively drinking alcohol to self medicate at the time. Somehow Dr. Vause weened me off the medication that I was taking too much of, found the exact medication for my condition, and affirmed that I am worth something, and that having a mental illness isn’t the end of life. She did so in a firm yet compassionate way. I didn’t feel “fixed” right away, and it took some inner work, but with her help and professionalism, I live a positive and productive life without self medicating and sabotaging myself. She’s also just a joy to talk with, and it’s easy to open up to her. She’s really good at empathizing and her laugh is infectious. A wonderful doctor who I highly recommend. Thank you so much Dr. Vause! <3

I am editing this review upon request from the owner, who stated it was ‘defamatory’ for me to warn others of my experiences by sharing this review. So, per her request, I will remove much of the review and leave only the undeniable facts, which are as follows: When I posted my review, I noticed it took the overall score for Alder Grove down from 3.0 to 2.9. This may or may not be noteworthy, but it is a fact. This practice is owned by the kind of person who would see that and ask the patient to take it down. Interpret that however you choose. My experiences as a patient here have included: being laughed at for having medical trauma, being told I am difficult to place with a provider because I have adhd, being charged incorrect amounts which were taken from my bank account without consent, and having problems receiving refills to my medication. Unfortunately, after speaking with the owner, I did not perceive sympathy or concern coming from her, but annoyance.

Terrible place that overbooks clients so they can claim insurance money and bill you for the rest. They're more about profit and liability. Not even 3 months and I'll be paying out of pocket way too much. I don't need to see someone 3-4 times a month. I can't afford this! I should have read these reviews before deciding to go with Alder Grove.

I've always had a great experience with this place. Any doctor's office would charge you for a no show, and while I disagree with this practice in general, it's clearly laid out before becoming a patient. I also think calling ANY doctors office during an acute MH emergency isn't a good idea, which is why VM going away messages always say hang up and dial 911. Anyway, I see Robin and she's fantastic. I want to be kept on as little medication as it takes, which is still a good amount with a personality disorder, but Robin helps me with this by changing one medication at a time minimally until things are better. She's been working with me for over a year now to find the right balance so it's a long haul process you need to put work into as well. I've always had very helpful interactions with Sara as well, she always returns my calls. I've found emails are more likely to get a response. All in all Alder Grove has been PIVOTAL to my mental health after my therapist's referral. They take Medicaid which is a huge help. I'm in a much better place for their help even though there is always improvement to be made.

Literally having a mental break down- haven’t slept in weekend because I ran out of medication- and I missed my appointment- and they have the nerve to ask for ANOTHER $90, totally inconsiderate of my well-being- not to mention I can’t afford it in today’s inflated economy. SCREW THIS PLACE!!! They took an oath to help the sick- but all they care about is money. Typical big pharma! I highly recommend NOT TO GO HERE! I recommend going to Serenity Mental Health where they actually treat you as a human and not a money sign… and they can get you in way quicker. Just keeping it real. God bless.
