Amberwood Court is our brother’s home, it’s a safe place, and believe care is provided with compassion & kindness. And patience. *Amy, Joleen and Alina are awesome. Really appreciate the caring contact- FT calls, texting. It makes our brother happy.

From a nurse perspective - this facility could be much better and not get the worst ratings if corporate actually attempts to hire competent people in the administration department. There is a vast amount of ignorance, lack of professionalism and flat out bullying that goes on towards the staff - employees and agency as of 2021. Maybe when those people get rotated out of the facility (as no one seems to retain a job in health care administration for longer than a few months anymore) Amberwood might have a chance to become a little better of a place to have your loved ones at. 80% of staff is agency at the moment, huge vacancy issues as with many other facilities, but to be honest this is the worst of all Vivage. There are other facilities with similar issues where at least there is an attempt to bring the place back to state standards, but this isn't it unfortunately. Violent and problematic patients mixed in with clueless elderly makes for a dangerous environment for staff and residents.

this place should simply be shut down.i would have gave it 0 stars but unfortunately that’s not an option.

Worst PLACE for ANY LEVEL of care! IF YOUR LO’S ARE HIGH NEEDS PLEASE FIND ANOTHER PLACE FOR YOUR LO! This place will end up killing your LO! Apathy and POOR MANAGEMENT AS WELL AS ABSOLUTELY NO COMMUNICATION! DON SHOULD BE FIRED!

Sick patients put call lights on and get no response from apathetic staff. If a concerned family member calls into the nursing station to check on loved one, they are told to call back. This run around goes on all day. You go through this cycle repeatedly. If you go in, the staff acts put out that you are visiting. You are told to leave in less than 30 minutes. They advertise care and compassion which is the exact opposite of what is really conveyed. No response to voicemails left with management. We were told by the hospital that this was the only nursing home with an open bed available at the time. Now we know why........

I have very mixed emotions about this place. I think if you have a loved one here check on them often and every chance you get to do it in person do it. Ask questions often. Some of the staff is great others should not have the job. My Father did not receive the care he needed and had he not fallen twice he would still be here today.

I had a bad fall at a restaurant and chose Amberwood upon my transfer from Denver Health ER.  It was close to my home and had great reviews on another site.  My stay was 17 days.My experience was excellent !!  Very clean , every staff member from nurse, aide, PT, OT, kitchen, social worker was cordial, informed and treated me with respect and concern for how I was going. Even the cleaning person explained how she used a different wet swifter for each room , placing it in a laundry basket upon leaving my room.  What a great way to stop disease spread!!  I only had one hiccup about getting A certain asthma inhalant  I take twice a day to avoid symptoms, but it was not anything the staff could control ... they did everything  reassure me and it was in process and kept checking on me  to bring tea, change my water, be helpful til it was resolved and talked with my Dr when she called.  Kudos to Amber and Sarah for helping resolve this efficiently !Jesse, the administrator visited me several time and even helped deliver meals!  Social worker Stephanie listened and helped me arrange things for my transition home.  Excellent food!!  Especially the Posole !!Anna,  the woman who normally is in charge of staffing & fixing computers,  phones, pretty much in charge of making the place hum played CNA on  a busy understaffed Holiday week - very friendly, sat and visited items with me and even took me for a shower and hair washing when the regular person was  out. I love managers who can do all Jobs.  I wish I could've brought Nolan, & Tracy home for my continued Occupational Therapy & Suni for PT .   But alas - I've got new home health workers at home. I will recommend Amberwood to all my neighbors and friends for post surgical or prolonged care needs.  .
