My first visit with Dr Freeman was a fact finding visit, a long list of questions he needed to have answered so he would know more about my particular circumstances. He also gave me a packet of information on a Vegan approach to heart health. I have never had a cardiologist who gave such extensive information on how to have a healthy diet. Dr. Freeman has a team approach with my other doctors at NJH. He has made recommendations to me to assist in finding out the root of a problem that other doctors were searching for. One key recommendation led to discovery of a massive infection that led to preventing a stroke. I have found him to be personable and thorough. He has an excellent reputation and I can attest to that.

Easily the best cardiologist and doc I have ever seen. Smart, funny, super detailed. Works hard in an academic environment. Very knowledgeable and caring!

WAY overcharged my husband and I for a simple office call. Ordered far too much lab work to the tune of $2000 each. Very condescending. Talked to me about open heart surgery which was unwarranted by other cardiologists. Scare tactics. Find someone else.

Our visit was efficient and thorough - and he even got me in for a heart test which got to the root cause of my symptoms. He even spent time with me on preventing future problems. Definitely go see!
