Extremely professional everybody there caring compassionate great place but why the one star? Stay away from this place despite all the goodness because of one bad person in billing who has no compassion, hung the phone up on me, extremely rude, and refused to let me speak with my doctor without paying again. I had to telemed visit, and the doctor just told me to call my GI doctor in regard to the issue in referred me out in a 1 minute phone call. I got charged for that and I know if the doctor knew about it you would not charge me, I tried to bring it to kris's (The rotten apple in the bunch of good ones) attention, then she rudely told me she doesn't care and that I am going to be charged and there's nothing I could do about it and hung the phone up on me. I asked to speak with my doctor and she wouldn't allow me to do that either do yourself a favor stay away from this office one spoiled apple will ruin the bunch. Just look this is sent 3 weeks ago and there's no reply take care about the business they would have replied and try to resolve this they don't care for yourself a favor stay away
Was referred in July for surgery, had surgery scheduled for mid-September, and received a call CANCELING my surgery 48 hours prior to the procedure because THEIR staff coded my insurance paperwork improperly. Now, I'm back at square one and can't get Kris the scheduler for the office to return mine, or my referring doctor's phone calls. Calling my insurance to dispute the "consultation charges", because why should I pay for a consultation for a surgery I CAN'T EVEN GET SCHEDULED. Now, I'm on my way to the ER under my PCP's guidance for a potential blockage that developed due to surgery not being performed in a timely manner....sounds like negligence to me, at least that's what my disability rights attorney just told me! UPDATE: I've already found a new surgeon but this practice is STILL trying to bill my insurance for the procedure I couldn't reach them about... Just avoid at all costs! My health declined dealing with this incompetent staff who never answer phones and gaslights patients.
Referred in July for surgery, had surgery scheduled for mid-September, and received a call CANCELING my surgery hours prior due to the billing/scheduling manager 'Kris' or 'Chris', 'overlooking a coding error' on HER end. It took them a week to even reach out to my referring doctor's office and I, and that was after NUMEROUS calls and voice-mails being ignored. I found a new surgeon in the time it took them to reach back out to me, and I also told them the surgery they FINALLY scheduled without my consent for October was canceled because I was leaving their practice and had already found a new practice...She's still trying bill me for surgery , but I guess the scheduler is trying to cover her tracks after years of complaints from patients. Not only did I wait over an hour for my initial consult, where very little information was given, but the scheduler makes it clear that her Fridays off are more important than any patient issues, so she'll get to it on HER time! Just like her boss.
I truly hate to give a one to this office because all the way from the receptionist Pandora and all of them down to the doctor Zunni anf Dr Ashwin Kurian have been nothing but amazing caring and professional. The only reason I gave one star if there were a option it gives zero it still would give one star because of them and they are all five stars. So imagine how bad my encounter with Chris the lady in billing was for me to give one star do yourself a favor do not come to this office until you are assured Chris no longer works there I know I will not this is my suggestion to you as I possibly have cancer and had a telemed visit ask the doctor he just refer me in 2 minute conversation to my GI doctor to do a different test as it is more effective and efficient. I know if I spoke with Dr kurian he would have told me I did not need to pay for that visit I know it! He was with the patient and I got transferred to Chris in billing, she hung the phone up on me after she told me I had to pay for that visit I have no problem paying for a visit but is this how you answer somebody's question who's encountering a possible life threatening illness? I believe there's not a doctor on Earth that would charge somebody that said they cannot do a more efficient test and refer me to another GI doctor on a telemed visit I know Dr kurian would never do that! she hung the phone up on me do yourself a favor stay away from places no matter how many good people there are if there is one rotten apple you know how to sing ends
WORST DOCTOR EVER!!! Do not schedule to see this doctor! If you have surgery by him, BEWARE!!! My 85 year old mother had surgery at a hospital and was there for a week and not once did he visit her or even do a follow up. I called his office to find out why he hadn’t shown up to check on my mother when the hospital staff said he would. His office said he would visit my mom the next day but Dr. Kurian never showed up. Days past with no phone call from him with my mother’s surgery/test results when my mother was supposed to get them in a week. So I called to talk to Dr. Kurian with no luck! His office said he would call to let us know but 5 weeks past with no phone call even after multiple phone calls from me to get her results. We finally got an appointment to see him and his response was, “I don’t know.” Not very knowledgeable. And when we tried asking him questions, he was in such a hurry, he rushed us out the door to get to his next patient. Stay away, he’ll just take your money. See a doctor that knows what they are doing.

I wish I could give 0 stars... Dr. Kurian made us wait 6 hours at the hospital for scheduled surgery. After the surgery, he left the hospital without talking to the patient. He was 1 hour late to 1st scheduled phone appointment. We were waiting for the biopsy results. He never called for the second scheduled phone appointment!! This is not a joke... His office schedules these appointments, and we pay the co-pay in advance. This is unconscionable. The patient is an 83-year-old man having trouble swallowing. He cannot eat. He is choking and down to 120 lbs. And this Dr will not even keep scheduled appointments. Please do not go to him...
I’ve been dealing with severe pain in my stomach for over six years, and multiple other GI issues since birth. Had endoscopy, after I read my chart I was dx with precancer. In our meeting he NEVER mentioned the precancer, when I did he said it was nothing to worry about, although symptoms are extreme stomach pain… He then said after I complained about massive weight gain in one week (25 lbs) due to medication, the only option for my stomach pain was diet and exorcise… I asked what to do about the pain, I said “so I’m screwed for the rest of my life?” The doctor said “yes”, instead of doing his job and coming up with a treatment plan geared towards me and my other GI issues. Instead of speaking about options during our 8 minute telehealth meeting, he is having me come in again for another consult. He asked me three different times if I had a CT scan done, & asked while I was in the procedure room as I was being anesthetized instead of looking at my chart before the procedure!
Best bed side manner, smart and knowledgeable!
Not all surgeons are created equal and Dr. Kurian is clearly a cut above! Not only was mom‘s hernia repaired through tiny incisions, but her breathing and energy improved SUBSTANTIALLY after he pulled her stomach away from her heart. She was out of the hospital, not taking pain meds, and using less oxygen within 48 hours. Thank you! Thank you! THANK YOU!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
