This ortho is fantastic! Not only are the employees nice but they make sure to get the job done fast and they have excellent service!

I originally had me teeth straightened in the 90's and they still look good years later. I also had a permanent retainer wire bonded in, after my parents realized I wasn't wearing the retainer. It was left in for at least a couple of years and no harm came of it. My teeth are straight till this day.

Dr. Smith is the excellent orthodontist for all three of my sons. In fact, we've had all three sitting in his exam chairs at one time. Each of my sons had different orthodontic needs and Dr. Smith and his staff excelled in treated all of them. My oldest was a very typical case, just some minor straightening to get the dynamite smile he has today. The middle son had already been seeing an orthodontist from Houston when we moved to Austin. Dr. Smith continued his care, including a mouth expander and braces. That son, also, now has a dynamite smile. The third son was the most difficult treatment plan. I spoke to Dr. Smith when that son was going into middle school and Dr. Smith was understanding about all the middle and high school dynamics students face about appearance, etc. Dr. Smith put braces on my son to straighten the few teeth he had. Then, Dr. Smith made an appliance that looked like normal healthy teeth for my son to wear from 8th grade to freshman year of college when he would be old enough to get dental implants due to his congenitally missing teeth. The Dr. Smith was thoughtful in the treatment that had to work not only for the present time, but also would plan ahead for the future implants. The appliance my son wore though high school gave him the confidence to smile readily and eat normally. When my son was finally old enough to get implants, Dr. Smith communicated on our behalf with the oral surgeon about my son's difficult case. The oral surgeon told us that Dr. Smith did an excellent job in preparing my son over the several years and my son finally got his implants.My third son now has a dynamite smile that matches his brothers due to the intelligence and thoughtful treatment of Dr. Smith.I highly recommend Dr. Brian Smith.

Dr. Smith took all four of my wisdom teeth out. His nurse was amazing and completely understanding of my fear of getting an iv. She helped me relax, and made the process not as scary and not painful at all, she even held my hand for part of the surgery. She is A+!! My only real complaint overall is i was badly bruised and my face was severely swollen, but besides that i recommend him he even so much took the time to call me the evening after my surgery to call and make sure i was okay, and didn't have any questions! Very professional!

Dr. Brian Smith and his group are the best. Patient, kind, detailed, and entrenched in our community... What more could you ask for in an orthodontist and his team. We now have two beautiful Dr. Smith smile's, And would recommend him to anyone looking for a great orthodontia.

This office put my braces on a while ago, but the problems from his permanent retainer I'm seeing recently bring back the smoldering bad memories. His attitude to patients was awful-- he talks down. He couldn't keep anyone straight. I see you every month, and you can't remember my treatment plan? The paper detailing my treatment is right next to you!!! He opened up gaps in my teeth, but never fixed it. They're now permanently held in place with a bonded retainer. His office, when discussions for how long the bonded retainer needs to stay, told me, "don't call us, we'll call you." I'm still waiting for the call. The bonds are falling apart and have since caused worse problems. I cannot say enough bad things about his practice or his personal treatment of patients.

Stopped by for a quick maintenance fix in permanent retainer and was in and out within 10 minutes. Holly and Kaitlyn were very attentive and helpful in resolving issue. Been coming here for 12 years and would recommend this place to anyone who wants a beautiful smile! Very professional and friendly environment; right up my alley : )

I have been seeing Dr. Smith for my orthodontia work for almost 20 years. He is extremely professional, does amazing work, and truly cares about all of his clients. I'm very pleased with my smile and every time I go to the dentist for a cleaning, I get many compliments on it by the dental staff. Not only that, but Dr. Smith's staff is incredibly friendly and always take care of me. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth. :)
