Centre For Behavioral Health At Porter's Online Review Report Card

I have been trying to use their services for 5 years. They called me today and let me know that my current provider is leaving. They want to schedule for my 4th provider in that span of time and got upset when I told her I wanted to take my time in rescheduling because my life is still happening, too. I will never call them back. They're counselors are a joke if you are trying to have talk therapy. I really wish them the best but I will not be using them anymore.

Just have to say Thank you so much to this place for stealing my wallet! Which had my ID, credit cards, and a wad of cash in it! And also can not forget the trauma that this forced visit has caused me! All anyone did here was treat me like a joke. Medical tyranny is what you will get here. D i s g u s t i n g comments from a certain male nurse here and everyone just is cruel here. This place is Disgusting! If you want to be damaged and have your personal property stolen then go for it! They even asked me if I had a passcode on my phone which I did not have with me when I stayed here They were going to look through my entire phone if they had a chance! No respect for privacy. This place needs to be shut down for the sake of humanity

This place put me in a worse spot than when I started the IOP. They were unresponsive to my insurance company and sent me back to work with documentation clearly showing I wasn't ready to go back. The Doctor calls from a block number, at the time I didn't realize there was a setting on my phone which sends these calls straight to voicemail. When calling back the doctor he was unresponsive. I spent the entire time in treatment worrying about if they would respond to my insurance company in a timely manner. Needless to say 4 months after I was prematurely sent back to work I was laid off. Seriously considering legal action. Stay away!

I participated in the intensive outpatient therapy program on two separate, muliti-month occasions. The staff was caring, skilled, competent, and detailed in their treatment program. I found them to be very invested in my inprovement and customization of the finer details of my personalized treatment. I have sought them out once again to address my resistance to traditional antidepressant therapy and we are now discussing a three month program of TMS. They haven't given up on me and with their help I haven't given up on myself. I have been more than satisfied and continue to be hopeful under Porter's care. I would recommend you include them in your search for treatments and care. I will be happy to update this post as my newest course of treatment moves along. Wishing you all the best health.

If there could be more Dr. Brandt’s in this world, we would be in a much better place! I have been suffering with Major Depressive Disorder since I was 10 and no psychiatrist understood until Dr. Brandt came into my life and gave me my life back! Can’t thank you enough!! Highly recommend!

These therapists do not seem to care about people; they will only do virtual meetings. Dedicated mental health advocates know the value of in-person communication. I spoke to 2 of them, all they did was refer me to other companies. Bizarre!

For inpatient adult services this is the last place you should go. My son was admitted after spending 10 days in ICU after a deliberate overdose of antidepressants and antipsychotic meds. He had to be recesitated during that stay. This was a serious attempt and we were told by liaisons that he would be spending a long period of time with them. This was his 2nd suicide attempt and 4th hospitalization. They are releasing him after a 5 day visit with no place to go, and helping him find a shelter? No one even bothered to call his dad or I ever during the behavior health portion of his stay. How can they release a patient who has no support, is unable to care for himself or provide himself with food or shelter? After numerous voice mails left for Dr Kutnick, my son's dad got to speak with him briefly. The doctor refused to listen to our concerns, did not provide any answers or options and ultimately hung up on us. He also refused to call me to discuss further. Negligent, uncaring, superficial treatment. Oh and for Porter's patient advocacy department, don't tell me you'd like to hear my opinion and to give you a call. I also still waiting for a call back from you!

I have had nothing but great experience. I was already a patient of Lindsey's in the past at a different facility. I am so thankful I was able to start seeing her again. Everything has been extremely simple with setting up appointments and billing. The best part they are in the mycentura group so my pcp always has all my information automatically in the system.

please find another IOP to attend. very dismissive people, if you have any concerns you are cut off. Dr Brant was one of the rudest doctors I have ever encountered. accused me of being late when I was 5 minutes early, HE was late.. The therapist they assigned me had her dog barking while i was trying to communicate with her. I think this program is all about money. new patients are thrown in with people in their final week. very disjointe. they keep a rolling attendance to maximize the money they can pull from you and your insurance company. they have no orientation to any of the protocols, vocabulary, or Enron the definition and idea behind DBT you are just supposed to get on zoom and figure it out. Honestly YouTube could do a better job.
