Dr. Hood was very professional in here examination and diagnosis of my full body scan. In the taking of a biopsy in my hair was explained and not painful. She and Hannah, her asst., assured I was informed during my appointment.

The exam was thorough and efficient. Dr Hood took the time to explain treatment options leaving the decision to me rather than pushing one or another since there was no clear advantage to either.

Dr. Hood thoroughly examined my skin for health issues. She clearly explained what he found, the treatment needed and answered all my questions. She and her assistant were very empathetic and kind. This was my first appointment with Dr. Hood and she I will continue to see her.

From start to finish all was done professionally and politely. On-line pre work was forthright, check-in was very thorough and quick. Appointment time was even early. Kate explained how the appointment would go and took care of the preliminary questions. Dr. Hood was prompt and very thorough and addressed all of my questions. Dr. Hood took care of my skin issues and made sure all was good before she left.

Only came here because I moved away from my previous Derm. I come in for annual skin checks. I waited 3 months for my appointment, paid $100 copay, and they made it seem like there wasn’t enough time in the world for me. They rush in the door while I’m still trying to coverup with the paper gown they give you, MA tells me they won’t be able to do the skin check and talk about two other quick issues all in one visit. Wasn’t super thorough, she didn’t fully explain to me about a procedure I asked for information on that she was going to do. I didn’t have enough time to finish my paperwork which is just the questions MAs usually ask you, so they asked me to stay in the room after my 10 min appointment to finish this. Disappointing interaction and this is what’s wrong with medicine nowadays. I’m a PA-C myself and would never just rush a patient like that, especially a new patient where you are scheduled a longer time to establish with them. 3 stars because she did do a full skin check.

My first visit with Dr. Hood. She and her staff were excellent and very professional. Registering and paperwork went off without a hitch. Look forward to her taking care of all my dermatology needs. Kudos to Dr. Hood and her staff!
