I went to this place as a new patient because obviously I was not feeling my best and unfortunately for me I got stuck in traffic and arrived 10 minutes late and was unable to see a doctor. I can understand that you do not want to back up the day with late patients but the woman at the front had no empathy and kept going with her paperwork such as taking my picture when I was upset and crying. Please do not go there if you want to feel like a human being , she made me feel worthless and she should definitely chose a different type of job since she had no heart , empathy or consideration for another human being.
Our doctor is wonderful!!! My son always has a good experience when he goes there. The doctor made sure to make him feel included in the appointment and asked him a lot of questions vs me and I LOVED that! He felt like such a big boy (he’s 3). 10/10
Absolutely trash Billing system. Have an 800 Credit Score and this company had me in collections over $35.00 that I never received one notification for. Plan for drama after your sickness if you deal with this company.
Dr. Murphy is an excellent Doctor! He listened to my perspective and approached me with an open, caring attitude. I didn’t feel rushed at all. I’d highly recommend him for anyone seeking a new PCP. The office staff were friendly and I found it easy to schedule the appt and check-in with their instructions. I think a lot of the reviews here are from prior ownership of this clinic. Don’t be discouraged, Intermountain/SCL has done a nice job of providing patient-centered care here.
Dr. Munro is a good physician but I believe there is something unethical about charging a patient for a long visit, when the physician is late. Us patients are expected to be early to our visits to streamline this process, however, we are at the mercy of the physician when it comes to integrity with being on time and billing. I noticed a long visit was coded for my physical so i figured I would take note of the time for this visit. My appointment was at 7:20 am. I was requested to show up at 7:05 am. I showed up at 7:03 am. I was taken into the back at 7:13 am. Dr. Munro didn't see me until 7:32 am. Of course, after I expressed my concerns and I was examined, Dr. Munro left to give me time to change and was gone for about 6 minutes. When she came back with orders, I asked for how long the visits are supposed to take and mentioned the billing. I was informed that regular visits are 15 minutes and physicals are 30 minutes. I was told that "That's just our healthcare system now". I reached out through MyChart, and my inquiry was ignored. If every visit, regardless of how much time, is marked as a long visit, it should be expressed as such. If a physician is making a visit long due to tardiness or seeing other patients, patients shouldn't be punished. I won't be seen here any longer but figured I would let other patients know in advance.
I had been utilizing this practice as my PCP up until 2022. My PCP NEVER took any of my health issues seriously, she'd give me antibiotics out the wazoo but never gave a diagnosis. I was with them about 10 years, then, I became homeless as a result of my health. First thing, where did my anklosing spondylitis arthritis diagnosis go? That would have been very useful in getting on disability. Second, ive fallen every day of my life because of a connective tissue issue and they disregarded my daily falls as anything serious even though I have a history of Epstein Barr Virus, which is a precursor to MS...? Third, I have been telling every doctor for 20 years about my sinus issues and instead of asking for background or anything the NP saw my deviated septum and assumed drug use... sorry, my nose is broken because I was abused. No bedside manner whatsoever. My sister broke my face when I was 4. Turns out that nasty smell that your multiple nurse practitioners tried to kill with the same antibiotics over and over again is paranasal sinus disease. So, thanks for missing that over the years. Really GREAT "medical services."
I wish I could give 5 stars because I absolutely love my doctors here. Rachel Kafader and Katherine Klein are wonderful. However, I received a surprise bill from their office because my referral that the doctor wrote, was never sent to the insurance company prior to my procedure. They had plenty of time to send it. My insurance company stated that they needed to receive the referral within 5 days after the procedure, in order for my insurance to pay the claim. Intermountain Health is refusing to take responsibility for their mistake and footing me with a bill of $2282. I have contacted DORA and filed an appeal with my insurance company. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
I had a great experience with Dr. Murphy
This place went to hell after Dr. Scanlan left. You cannot talk to your doctor unless you get an appt - they literally will not call you but will send you an email that took them 4x the length of time it would have to just pick up the phone, and good luck getting an appt the same day or even the same week. They are short staffed, they cannot retain employees so YOU suffer and YOU feel the impacts of that. They do not care about YOU they care about them THEMSELVES. I know several women who used to see Dr Scanlan, and now that I am leaving, that will be 75% of patients that I personally know who have left. That is 3 out of 4 women who refuse to go to this practice anymore. Heed the warning and avoid this practice at all costs. They do not care about your health and they do not like when you try to own your health, they want to be in control and they don't have time for you outside a scheduled appt. Well, looks like one less kick back from big pharma for Dr Cantrell and his assistant Gabriela because I am taking my business to another practice like 75% of the other women I know who used to go here. OH!! And that 5 star review below mine from Gabriela R - IT IS FAKE!!! It is Dr Cantrell's assistant! Report it if you still see it!
This doctors office has been nothing but headaches for me, and that’s what doctors and nurses should be curing… Dr. Kafader came highly recommended to me, and I felt the complete opposite as soon as she became my doctor. She had no patience. I’d catch her rolling her eyes and whispering to her staff about me behind closed doors. She claims she parted ways with me because of “financial strain” when really, I’d just ask to see an estimate (from the billing department) every now and then because like most people these days, I struggle and need to make sure whatever tests I’m getting are within my budget. Today was the cherry on top though… I called to request a refill on my prescription and because I’m no longer a patient (by maybe a few weeks) they refused to fill it even though they approved a refill for the wrong medication just last week. Then, the receptionist got back on the phone and told me, word for word “nobody wants to talk to you… you’ve been discharged.” I found that extremely unprofessional and unkind, especially being a receptionist myself, which I take very seriously and treat people with respect, which is not what I was given at all tonight. 10/10 do NOT recommend this office or their staff.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
