I have been going to the Doctor for about a year or so. I think that this is a great place to get treatment for depression and anxiety. The staff is great and so is the Doctor. I would highly recommend.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Shuman for about two years now, and I have to say this is this best psychiatric care I’ve received in the city. He’s understanding and he always follows up! He’s also very quick to respond to emails and help you make follow-up appointments. I’m glad I found his office when I did, he got me through a very weird time following Covid.

Confluence Psychiatry has provided a big help in dealing with my depression. The ketamine treatments have not cured depression, but do put a floor under how deeply I get depressed and how long it lasts. Dr. Shuman has taken the time to understand my individual needs and modify my dosing as needed. He has also helped manage my medicine needs with insomnia and anxiety. I’m very comfortable recommending Confluence Psychiatry.

Dr Shuman is an excellent healthcare provider, helping me with clarity in diagnosis, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with other providers. His office is comfortable, inviting, and immaculately clean. He is flawless with record keeping, scheduling, and communication.

Dr. Shuman has assisted me understanding the underlying causes of Depression and Anxiety. He has referred me to both pharmaceutical and wholistic approaches for mitigating MDD. I appreciate his candor and have referred him to family and friends!

Dr. Shuman came as a recommendation from my therapist and it's been a great experience. One of the best aspects of his practice is that he is easy to get a hold of and readily available to patients. I'd highly recommend him.

As a board certified psychiatrist who specializes in general mental health and addiction, I highly recommend Dr. Shuman and his practice, Confluence Psychiatry. He is prompt with responses, effective in treatment (listening to my needs and prescribing medications), and objective. Making sure my needs are met at every stop along this journey. Even when I have issues with the pharmacy, he will make sure everything is correct. He approaches me with sincere kindness and empathy. Another great benefit is that his office is calm and soothing, with lights and music that really set a peaceful ambience/ mood.

All I will Say is your child and your family deserve a happy ending please save your money this dr does not follow code of ethics client neglect and abuse and abandonment are a serious problem here as well as effectiveness of services and avoiding harm and imposing values are all the code of ethics this place does not follow and to the administration who deletes this I will Keep posting the truth I hope My honesty helps a fellow addict
