Denver Health received 11.3% positive feedback, with patients praising its professionalism and dedicated staff. However, 88.7% of the feedback was negative, primarily citing long wait times, poor communication, and administrative issues. Overall, the hospital is valued for its commitment to care, yet it needs stronger time management and communication.ScoreDoc Score

Worst experience ever, I never want to be seen there again... make you wait a hour for your appointment. BS if you ask me. I will be going somewhere else from now on
Terrible place, 2000$ for pink eye. Won't work with u. Will sue u n garnish your wages. Go anywhere else but this greedy hospital. University, pink eye 50$ n ten x more medication.
TLDR, I took my son in for a stomach ache (led to believe it was urgent care) and got a $2500 emergency bill. I took my son for a stomach ache one morning to the pediatric urgent care. The name of the clinic is "Pediatric Emergency Department and Urgent Care at Denver Health." I had called on the way and the person told me that in the middle of the night, it's ER services but switches over to urgent care at 7 AM. We arrived just after 7 AM. He had a stomach ache so they gave him an ibuprofen, tested his urine, and tested him for strep. They didn't tell us anything or diagnose him, or make him feel better. They released us. The bill is 2,435.95. The majority of this cost is the emergency visit level III, which is $2265 and is a bogus charge because a.) we were led to believe we would be billed urgent care prices, not ER prices, and b.) upon looking further into this, they can choose whether it's an "emergency" at their discretion. I disputed this with the company and they said it would be escalated to a higher department. They never got back to me on the charges and instead sent it to collections agencies. Each time I receive a letter I have to explain their error, and have sent certified letters to both the collection agency and the hospital. I've said that I'd pay the normal charges, which amount to about $200 and would be a normal charge for bringing your child to urgent care for a stomach ache (especially since they didn't do anything major). But they keep saying their hands are tied, talk to the collections agency, who says their hands are tied. If I could give them negative stars, I would.

This is my experience & opinion RE: Denver Health ER. Felt like I was @ D.I.A. because of the double security checks. I have some very serious debilitating health issues which have become much worse. Unfortunately I wasted 4 hours there. The doctor finally showed up. In the middle of our conversation, her phone rang. She took off for over an hour. I was told by another employee I needed to sign discharge papers. But I said our conversation wasn't finished. After lots more waiting, the Dr. finally came back. She told me basically there was nothing they could do for me! I asked if she would @ least check some areas there's concern about. I really felt like I inconvenienced her w/that. They basically did nothing for me. No medicine, etc. However, they did give me a work/school excuse letter. Saying I could return to work in 2 days (LOL?). I feel like a dead person existing. I'm also elderly, in a wheelchair, very disabled, no longer have quality of life & I certainly cannot work or go to school! Sure~I really felt valued, listened to, cared for @ Denver Health....NOT!
Incredible experience. The doctors were so helpful and made the process very easy. I appreciate it greatly and look forward to returning!
Súper mala la atención médica, ni siquiera son consientes con las mujeres embarazadas
My gf had her first baby here we followed all the instructions of the nurses and still ended up with a emergency c section they recommended the folly tube and it all seemed to be going good and it was taking a while for her to dilate so they were saying they might pop the water on their own, her water eventually popped by itself and then they said they needed to to fill it back up with fluid because they he baby was "under stress" which means the baby was losing heart rate in too long of intervals worst part was they acted like everything was okay that it's no big deal and that we might need a c section within 30 minutes as soon as the c section papers were signed it was a category 2 and they had to take her to surgery overall bad experience I think they recommend whatever is fastest for them and not what's actually going be the most safe or effective way to have a baby I don't want any more kids but if I was having another one definitely don't go here trash experience and there's a reason they have all those bad reviews and security at night are horrible had no problems with visitation during the day but at night if you have two adult visitors with kids they will not let all of them in since they count kids as a "individual" when a kid can't even take care of themselves just little stupid things do not come to this hospital definitely gonna switch after this experience
I was brutally attacked by my husband they didn't do MRI of my brain nor treat me he broke several bones in my face and tried to unalive me this place refused to give me pain meds after my orbital eye repair I should have never been released day of my attack I reported them to the state and looking for an attorney to sue them.
My mom has been an MS patient at Denver Health for years. She likes her doctors and never complains about the care she receives. She rarely complains about anything. Christine from urology called me to reschedule my moms appointment and instead of just telling me that she would be alone in the office went on to tell me that she doesn't want to do my moms procedure because my mom complains too much then says "you know your mom" and laughed. I didn't find it funny. My mom went to her appointment today and didn't want to mention the comment because she didn't want Christine in trouble. Christine was overheard asking another nurse to do the procedure for her. My sister goes to all my mom's appointments and says this nurse that took care of my mom today is always very professional and sweet. I wish I got her name but I appreciate the care she gives my mom. No one with a health condition deserves to feel like a burden, and as for Christine there are things that should not be said to a patient or their family, and if you can't do your job without complaining then maybe you should find a different profession. This experience was very disappointing not only for me and my sister but for my mother. I can't imagine how she feels having to see this Woman every 6 weeks. I hope she thinks about the way she treats people in need of help, especially people that can't help themselves.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
