Denver Health: Sloans Lake Primary Care Center's Online Review Report Card

I feel very fortunate to see Dr. Depner at the Sloans Lake location. I received excellent care, from a team of expert health providers.

They got me in quick and I love my primary Dr Dq

Dr. Depner is a good PC Dr. All the staff is friendly. Close to home.

Disorganized & clueless.

Recommend avoiding this clinic if you require a positive experience. Blanket policies and red tape take priority to health care. Adding a star for the patient advocate team. Thank you

This absolutely a bad clinic avoid it! Let's put aside that you will have to ignore the homeless near the door when you go in, the staff doesn't know what they are doing and the manager of the branch is terrible (unprofessional and rude!) I went to the clinic, the doctor was pretty nice and kind no problem there, I've asked to have the blood test done in lab corp which is something I've done for years (better rates and data stay in one location), I was told no problem and given a paper for the lab. I went to the lab appointment while fasting and they couldn't process the request paper, I was told this is not how lab request is done, it doesn't include the codes and details needed. I sent a message through their app complaining about this since it took me weeks to get a lab appointment and it was a 30-minute drive, the staff couldn't figure out how to generate a proper lab request for weeks! I've even provided them with resources to correct the request with no hope. lastly, the manager instead of correcting the situation and taking this as a learning experience, the manager deflected and started rudely instructing me on how should I message the staff! I have reported this place to United Health Care but you should avoid this location, they waste your time and they simply don't want to be better. As long as such a manager is there it's not a place to consider and should be investigated.

Jason Schultz helped me out with rescheduling my October 5th appointment when the PCP assigned to me was leaving and my appointment was cancelled. Whoever scheduled my appointment in the first place most likely knew my PCP was leaving when they scheduled my appointment. Jason Schultz got me an appointment tomorrow with a new PCP. He was very kind to me on the phone when I was frustrated with how it was handled. Isaac Dana

I made an appointment for 2 months out because they have a very busy clinic. I showed up to my appointment and they told me it had been canceled… but they forgot to call me to reschedule. Aggravating. Front office (Juliana) was really sweet and called her office manager, Sara, to help me. Sara accommodated me in their same-day schedule to see Dr Reingold. The nurse, Margaret, walked me to my room and was so welcoming and calming. Dr Reingold was attentive, knowledgeable and thorough. Thank you all taking me in for a new patient exam late on a Friday. I really appreciate you all!
