It was fast but I had listed on my chart that I was wanting to get a covid and hep b vaccine but couldn't because I needed a doctors visit for the hepb vaccine which I now have to reschedule for the hep b vaccine and go through the side effects again and which is a waste my time so it is important to relay this kind of info to the patient before hand so because of this I put a four star which could have been a five.

Unfortunately one of the worst hospitals i have ever had to go to. I was taken to the ER with flu symptoms, my fever was 93 and i was shaking, my whole body was aching. I was put in a room and left for almost 2 hours, i was literally screaming in pain as my body would not take it anymore. A nurse first came in the room, opens the door looks at me and says WHAT? With an attitude. I reply please im in pain i need some medicine, and her response is well im not the doctor so you have to wait you are not the only one here, slams the door and leaves. I continue asking for a doctor and this other male nurse comes in and tells me if you continue yelling we will have a problem here. Never, never in my life did i ever expect to go to a hospital and have a nurse come in trying to intimidate a patient because i was in so much pain from the flu. He then proceeds to tell me if i do not shut up we will have a problem!!! The nurse literally threatened me, in the hospital, while i was in bed asking for help. 2 hours later the doctor finally saw me, to which my were all very nice, however i was in such bad shape they wanted to monitor me over night as my symptoms had worsened. All in all i recovered however these nurses should have their license revoked or just quit, they are disgusting humans that should not be anywhere close to medical field dealing with patients, especially the “big shot” nurse you came all buffed as if he was a security guard, awful practice and inexcusable behavior. If you are looking to get treated like a street dog then you can go to this hospital, if you expect to be treated as a human being go anywhere else.

I’ve visited Denver Health more times than I can even recall and every single time, everyone I see there is wonderful. I’ve received three successful surgeries here as well as months of PT and everyone from the security person to the therapists, nurses, and doctors are always so kind, compassionate, and provide the best quality healthcare.

I really appreciate Dr Doherty and the thoroughness that she cares for my health. I also, received the covid and flu shots along with the blood work and she answered all of my questions. thank you
