Psych NP Woodard is great! She is very kind and very knowledgeable.
My journey with Serenity Cherry Creek is still unfolding—my medications aren't perfected yet and life remains in its usual chaos. What’s already become clear is that this path is unlike anything I've experienced before in my 24 years navigating mental-health care. This has been a sucky journey before Serenity. I have a few things to say: 💛 From the bottom of my heart Ben and Austin, thank you. Your kindness, compassion, and dedication have been life‑changing. I’ve never met professionals who care so deeply—who listen not just to my words, but to my soul—and who do their best to meet me exactly where I am. Ben is awesome with his nonchalant coolness. Austin is more guarded as a person, but I really appreciate when we do have a session. I respect his approach to work and life and I couldn't ask for a better match for therapy. He's the best therapist I will probably have. It's fun when he wears his colorful shirts too. Lightens the vibes. To the receptionists and front‑desk team, your warm smiles and welcoming energy make every visit feel safe, valued, and cared for. Paige and Jess have been especially kind to me and I love having a moment to say hi when I can. ✨ The transformative power of TMS Taking the step to pursue TMS was difficult given my unpredictable schedule and life’s messiness—but it has truly been a turning point. TMS is known to be effective in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and improving sleep—and I’m living proof of that. My sleep is becoming more restorative. My anxiety has dialed down. My depression feels more manageable. I still have bad days, but I can snap out of it instead of sinking deeper into feeling permanently stuck. Most astonishingly, those agonizing PTSD flashbacks—moments where my mind felt trapped in the past—have eased more than I ever hoped. That alone has lifted a burden I thought I’d carry forever. The only thing I will carry, is chronic back pain, which throws a wrench into EVERYTHING. I could write several books on my life experiences leading to this moment. As much as the trauma has overtaken me previously, this whole experience has continuously improved at a pace that no other place has been able to attain. This is rare. 🌟 Saying "thanks" feels too small of a gesture of gratitude and appreciation. Ben and Austin, you’re extraordinary human beings. You’ve helped me begin to rebuild a life that once felt irrevocably broken. I’m so grateful for your unwavering support, gentle guidance, and the way you’ve held space for my healing. I respect you deeply and appreciate you immensely—my life is better because of you. While I’m still navigating this path, I remain hopeful and supported. My journey isn’t over, and yet I know I’m no longer walking it alone. Mostly.lol. A light-hearted suggestion- I’d love to see casual fridays or even more colorful scrub options for your staff. A bit of color could bring just as much optimism to the space as you bring to the people inside it! It's fancy in there regardless. The only thing I would really appreciate improvements on, is the cleanliness. The rooms for sessions definitely have rugs that could use some love. The waiting area has windows that are dusty and have dead moths in the corners. It's gross. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The couches are okay, but they really need to be wiped down and cleaned better. Whoops. I would gladly take over for whoever you're paying. I don't need money, just cover my therapy sessions. I'll even clean for free the first time- just to show your staff that things are possible. I don't think theres a lighter way to say all that. Oops. OK Im done now. Byeeeee. Thanks.
**UPDATE** Landon (management?) from Serenity called at 5pm yesterday stating ‘he didn’t want me surprised by changes but he was calling to inform me that my treatment dosage was reduced again. Mind you, I had no prior communication with Serenity since I left the clinic 3 days ago. In fact, my provider was off yesterday and the clinic was closed the day prior (date of review). I personally view this second decrease as possible retaliation, rather than a coincidence, but I wasn’t involved therefore this is opinion only. So I changed my rating from 2* to 1* for continuing to deprioritize my request for involvement with my own treatment plan. The clinic has replied here advising patients to do research. I found Reddit to be interesting (but you never know what’s allegedly true or not). Again, I can only attest to my personal experience. I’ve been coming here for about 6 months now. I think the staff is great and here’s my honest review of my experience. TMS: I completed the TMS protocols and I don’t know if I’ve seen any benefits. I’ll admit- for 26 sessions it took me about 4 months to complete. No excuses- they offer M-F services. I had to deal with medical issues on top of trying to have some sort of ‘break’. I was told we’d still see results, I just don’t know if I can tie any to this treatment. I also requested some type of before and after ‘results’ comparison (or similar) but I was advised they can’t define individual results from a data perspective. I still remained hopeful and I requested additional treatments- insurance denied. Not a fault of the clinics- they advised they’d attempt to get the denial overturned, as they’ve been successful in the past with treatment resistance, but there’s been no answer- even when I’ve recently asked about the status. Ketamine: First, the nurse is amazing. Second, it’s my understanding that the dosage and number of treatments are determined by your provider but I don’t know whether that’s the case or not. I finally felt like I was getting to an effective point in treatment but I was already many sessions in and on a max dose. My complaint is that once I reached a point of effectiveness (maybe 2-3 treatments ago) it was decided that it’s time to taper down. Maybe because I was max dose? Maybe because I’m on a payment plan but still have a huge outstanding bill or I’m now deemed a loss cause? Maybe it’s because I went into my provider session feeling good about restarting therapy next week and I took my adhd meds for the first time since being released from the hospital and I was actually feeling decent at my appointment? I don’t know.. but it was agreed upon to change my dosage- which I had no control over. (The dosage decreased yesterday btw.) I felt no relief during treatment and I’ve felt no relief today. As I’ve been told relief can come at different times and as someone who’s gone through many sessions I can attest to this. However, anytime when that temporary relief came after it’s been the following day, but I feel worse today than yesterday. Now, my provider advised me he’d talk to the nurse about my current dosage and drip rate, and between the time I waited after visit and before treatment I wasn’t advised of the change. I don’t like not being consulted about change of treatment and I’ve addressed this with the clinic before. Here’s where I’ll take accountability- 1) I didn’t ask whether change was made beforehand 2) I booked my keta session an hour after my provider visit to renew my keta treatment (recent hospitalization = missed provider visit). Either way I don’t relief isn’t felt and I can’t say for certain if it’s from being triggered about the change without approval or the actual dosage. There’s so many unknown variables, but I won’t take accountability for every one of them. Considering you pay $400 oop for each treatment; I just don’t know if I should attempt titration or if I should call it a loss. I’m just doubting my entire journey. I was recommended here as a long term- high risk, treatment resistant person and this was my personal experience.
Serenity was very easy to work with and I would recommend the company. My intake over the phone was very thorough and I was treated with respect, patience, and compassion. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day - which was a weekend (!) - and my provider, Johnny Patterson, was also kind, patient, and thorough. I never felt rushed. My appointment was in person, which I prefer. Overall a very solid experience for something that can be overwhelming and emotional.
Riley was perfect—combining compassion with financial information. He helped me a lot!! At one point he said, “There’s hope here,” meaning Serenity. And I believed him.
I’ve had a truly great experience with Serenity Mental Health. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel safe, respected, and supported. The environment is calming, and it’s clear that everyone there genuinely cares about your well-being. I especially want to shout out Austin, he’s been incredibly understanding, attentive, and insightful during our sessions. I always leave feeling heard and more grounded. It’s not easy to open up, but with Austin, it felt natural and judgment-free. I’m really grateful for the support and guidance I’ve received here. Highly recommend Serenity for anyone looking for compassionate and professional mental health care.
I honestly love the office/location here everyone is incredibly kind, it's not complicated to make an appointment or reschedule! Nico Bohm NP, is an incredible person, he actively listens to you and comes up with a plan on how to really help you and be transparent with expectations. He is incredibly knowledgeable and I enjoy his feedback on what does and doesn't work for me and how we can improve my plan of care and really listens to me. I will continue to come here and I tell friends and family that Serenity Health center has really helped and changed my life! I can't recommend this place enough especially Nico!
My experience with you was terrific. You made feel Sean and Hurd with what I am going through. Thank you so much.
I felt very welcomed and support at this facility! Katryna, my tech, was amazing. She is mind, supportive and reassuring. Kudos to Katryna!
Dr French is one of a kind. Hands down one of the most empathetic understanding psychiatrist I've ever had the opportunity of meeting. The entire practice has a deep sense of compassion for their clients they approach mental health with an immense understanding of psychology and humanity as a whole. I am so incredibly grateful to have found a practice so in tune with their population one that is unabashed in their love for a demographic so vastly under served.
