My wife came to Denver Surgery Center for elective surgery. Everything was handled efficiently, and professionally. Special kudos go to Night Nurse Kris Sawyer, who showed special care watching for my wife's every need post surgery, and at night!

Everyone I encountered made sure my visit was pleasant. The nurses and surgeon were wonderful. They made sure I was comfortable and were very thorough.

Really unprofessional and not focused on the patient. Day of procedure they bumped my friend's procedure time and moved her pickup time from 4pm to a 315pm but then called to say that she was ready at 2:35pm. When I said I would be there as soon as possible, they pushed her to find a new ride and basically shoved her out the door. For what? So they could go play golf? My friend literally heard the nurse say how great it would be to leave early. Appointment times and pickup times are scheduled in advance for a reason. We all want to go home early when possible but making a patient feel unwelcome and uncared for is not cool.

My First Surgery: Recently had ACL and Meniscus surgery at DSC. It was my first surgery and I'm not sure my experience could've been better. When I arrived, the receptionist walked me through all my paper work. Then, a nurse came out and took me back to get prepped. Talked me though everything he was doing, asked me about my life in Denver, what I do for work, and just overall tried to keep me calm. Each member of the surgery team from the anesthesiologist, to the nurse, to the actual surgeon were so nice and reassuring. When I awoke, I was in tremendous pain and the nurse helped me through it. Overall, I was very pleased.

Slow, inefficient, and unprofessional. Our first choice was Harvard Park Surgery center, but the docs office said they were booked up for several months. The wife spent over two hours in pre-OP, doing nothing and this was for a relatively minor procedure. Employees wearing masks below the nose, yelling with phlegmmy coughs. Mediocre waiting room. Bottom line, avoid if you can.

Just had ACL surgery here this morning with the amazing Dr. Bazaz from Western Orthopedics and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. This place is a class act! Thank you Michelle, nurse Brenna, Brigid, anesthesiologist Chris and PA Greg for making my first ever surgery so seamless and comforting.

Everyone from Registration staff to post op nurse were very welcoming, professional and caring. They explained every aspect involving my surgery. I was especially impressed with anesthesiologist, OR staff and my post op nurse Stacey. Because I rec’d a nerve block, I was pain free for 24 hours. The anesthesiologist personalized the delivery of my meds so I had no nausea or sore throat like I’ve experienced at other surgical centers. The OR nurse instinctively placed a pillow under my knees which relieved the discomfort in my back b/c I had been lying on a hard gurney in pre op. Stacey was very thorough in making sure I was comfortable in post op, checking on me frequently & was patient in explaining my discharge instructions to my husband. I’d recommend Denver Surgery Center in a heartbeat:)

The entire crew of the Denver Surgery Center is nothing short of AWESOME!!! This is my second operation in two years and yesterday’s experience was excellent. My deepest thanks to Kara, Katrin, Kayli, Kathleen, and Lindsay for your care, compassion, and kind professional care!!! And, also Thank You to Dr. Daniel Shadrick!!! You are incredible. Everyone from the staff at the front desk, nurses and docs were all amazingly friendly and kind before and after my surgery. I felt so well taken care of and had complete confidence in everyone there. It was a great experience!
