The appointment went well with Dr. Nawaz. The issue is that the staff is not very proactive with the patient in terms of reaching out. I always have to do all the leg work with setting up the appointment, getting procedures scheduled, getting my medications taken care of, etc, etc......

visited because of slow heartrate not being picked up by my pacemaker. Saw pacemaker tech and Nurse and then Dr. Nawaz. All listened to my concern. I was prescribed a new medicine with explanation on how to take it and a concern for the price which they helped with. All were easy to communicate with and were not rushed. As a retired physician I feel very fortunate to get my care from these experienced and able professionals.

Dr. Nawaz is a superlative cardiologist with a flair for patient care and concern. He is willing to have a dialogue with his patients concerning their health and treatment options, making sure that they are knowledgable and comfortable with the decisions they arrive at. His assistance, guidance and support made my cardiac episode, treatment and follow-up worry-free!

Except for a severely blocked artery my experience with Dr. Nawaz was great. I got sick while out of town, when I got back his staff quickly worked me into his schedule. Even though his surgery schedule was full for the next day he fit me in and moved me to the head of the line. I was sicker than I thought but he immediately recognized how seriously ill I was and took care of me. Might have saved my life. Dr. Nawaz is great to work with, I fully recommend him.
