List of Hca Healthone Denver Internal Medicine's Reviews
My provider left the practice and I was given two days notice. I came down with COVID and got little to no help despite my multiple call to say I was concerned about my respiratory condition, I finally had to call dispatch health who diagnosed me with pneumonia and started me on two antibiotics and steroids. Even after Dispatch Health contacted the office with the information about my condition, I have never received a call from my PCP office.
I had been going here for 20 plus years and can't believe the "care" quality has gotten this atrocious. The office staff are rude and can't problem solve. I asked for a referral from office via the message function, they told me i needed an appointment for a test and referral which I then booked. I was then called day before and informed my "care team" wont see me as I need to see my PCP for a referral, whom isn't available for two plus weeks. I asked for my options and was given none. The utter definition of incompetent and no accountability nor care for your patients and simply rush you out without putting a thought into anything If you are part of the office you are part of the care team. Terrible "care" and I will be finding a new PCP.
Twice, I have arrived at DIM for a scheduled appointment that they do not have on record. I show them the confirmation texts and confirmation emails, and that does not seem to matter. The staff, generally speaking, is rude at best and incompetent at worst. If you are switching from their practice to another, they will make it as difficult as possible: your medical records will not be sent unless you fill out an additional form and **deliver it to them in person, via mail, or via fax.** You cannot email them this form, still, in the year 2024. They constantly switched my primary healthcare provider and made me sit through several "new patient" meetings as a result of their own internal mismanagement -- I was not a "new patient" at any time, but I sat through several "new patient" appointments over the course of 3 years because they can't keep a doctor on staff for longer than a few months at a time. Finally, the woman Donna at the office is extremely condescending and rude no matter what you ask or are calling about. It could be as simple as "I'd like to schedule an appointment" and she immediately adopts a deeply condescending tone, like she is talking to a child. My most recent phone call with Donna just ended with me asking "Okay, when will my records be sent to my new provider?" and she said "It usually takes 30 days." Stunned, I confirmed, "It'll take 30 days to fax my medical records to my new doctor?" and Donna said "I did not say that. You don't listen. I said it NORMALLY takes 30 days. Are you hearing me? Can you hear? Do you understand?" I said "Don't condescend to me" and she said "FUCK YOU, FUCK YOU, FUCK YOU" and hung up the phone.
I need to see someone concerning my Adderall prescription..
I recently became a patient of Dr. Glassman. I’ve seen her about five times and the first few times were rough but then her and I started to bond. I feel like now she listens and lets me explain. She gives excellent advice and I really like her I’ve had two experiences with Rayna And each time that I’ve had an appointment with her she never looks me in my eyes. It’s like she talks to down you not only does she talk down to you but her MA also has a horrible attitude so I would recommend Dr. Glassman but Rayna I believe in my heart that she is a straight up racist and feels that you are beneath her. She’s awful and I wouldn’t recommend her to my worst enemy.
My wonderful Dr. Desarden is leaving this practice and just like SCL Health where I lost 4 PCPs in 2 years I felt abandoned. When I called I was told I'd have to establish care with the remaining NPs in the practice. Of course this cost me money to do so in spite of the fact that I really didn't need an appointment. I asked to speak to the practice administrator about when a new doctor was coming on board and why I should have to pay to establish care in the same practice. I was told she'd call me and she never did. I'm switching practices given that once again I feel abandoned and uncared about. Very disappointed.
If there was ZERO STARS, that would be my rating. I have seen my internist for 2 years, and she is great! However, she is leaving the practice. I have had to use a different physician but he is TERRIBLE. The front desk, medical assistants and support staff in general are either overworked and under supported or just terrible too. This practice has lost at least 2 doctors and 2 PAs in the last 2 years so this says a lot about how this practice treats its people. Good luck using the patient portal to communicate with your doctor -- this practice simply does not care.
My experience here has been difficult. I tried to have medical records transferred here 5 different times and still they have not been received. The office says they submitted requests twice and when I call my previous doctors office, they have not received the requests. The final straw has been that my doctor left the practice in the time I have had a mammogram scheduled. She apparently did not send the correct order form, which I found out at my mammogram appointment. I called the office to get my doctors new information to reach out to her to correct the order and she is not available and denver internal medicine was not willing to correct the issue despite the notes showing the correct order. Of course I understand the situation with my doctor leaving and blame her for the extreme lapse in coverage but for the office to not support the patients who had been there for years is doubly disappointing. I would not recommend this office.
Always good. Clear communication, appointment on time, respectful treatment, and great medical care.
Dr. Mangalik and Melissa are a pleasure to work with. I do find these ubiquitous surveys to be annoying!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
